I had a very disappointing and frankly unethical experience with Lexus of Sarasota. As an out-of-state buyer (New York), I was given a purchase breakdown that included Florida state taxes, Florida t experience with Lexus of Sarasota. As an out-of-state buyer (New York), I was given a purchase breakdown that included Florida state taxes, Florida tag fees, and other inflated add-ons — despite the fact that I would be titling and registering in my home state. This is misleading and could easily result in a customer being double taxed. On top of that, they added over $1,800 in dealer “documentation” and “electronic filing” fees—far above industry norms. It’s shocking to see a luxury dealership operate in such a way, especially when trying to build trust with potential buyers who could have purchased a vehicle from them. Practices like this are unethical and disgusting. Instead of treating customers with honesty and respect, they bury them in unnecessary charges and make the process intentionally confusing. I walked away from the deal, and I would caution anyone considering doing business with Lexus of Sarasota to review every line item carefully before signing anything. Luxury branding means nothing if the dealership operates without integrity. More

My service appointment was rescheduled twice. I realize that there are things that happen to cause a need to change, i was notified in advance the first time. However I arrived for the new appoin I realize that there are things that happen to cause a need to change, i was notified in advance the first time. However I arrived for the new appointment only to be told that there was a back up and the wouldn’t have time that day to address my car. Rather than coming to the dealership I could have been called the second time to reschedule again. More
