Helped by Darren Callan to set up service on my SUV. I know nothing about auto work and he was very patient and helped explain to me how everything would work with my insurance. My husband and I have purchased 5 cars from Handys, we have always been highly satisfied. Recently we had to have some recall work and our breaks replaced. I was called on the day of the appointment an have always been highly satisfied. Recently we had to have some recall work and our breaks replaced. I was called on the day of the appointment and told they had forgotten to order the parts. Stuff happens! I wasn’t going to have my car until the next day….I was offered a rental car at no charge, and a ride down to get it. I That’s going beyond and above. Then when I picked up my car it cost less than I had anticipated, terrific! Darren explained that we had been quoted on front and back breaks needing to be replaced, but when they checked the back brakes were still good. Thank you More

The Tacoma I currently have is my third and all 3 have come from Handy's in Saint Albans. Darren Callan handled my case on both occasions. Initially, the truck was brought in for high engine temp and large coolant leak. Discovered that there is a leak in engine coolant manifold. Was told Initially, the truck was brought in for high engine temp and large coolant leak. Discovered that there is a leak in engine coolant manifold. Was told Toyota wasn't going to cover it because it wasn't a warrantied item. Told Darren that I had brought the truck in during the 1 year, CPO period for the same issue. It was dismissed because tech couldn't find leak. Darren listened, investigated, and made a case with Toyota - which ultimately proved to be successful! This type of customer service cannot be bought nor taught because it originates from within his personality and character. Where others fail to provide the best service possible, Darren triumphs. Simply because Darren sees and listens to you as an equal. He then fights for you like you are his family. Although, I live a far ways from Handy Toyota, I do not mind returning back there for services. It is the trust and respect that I have developed with associates like Darren. As a future goal for Handy Toyota, I would like to see them provide this level of service and care, consistently all across the board, all year-round. More
