Experience at John Paul's My wife and I recently worked with Dick and Dave over at John Paul's when purchasing our new Terrain. Was happy at first Our experience started off as a good one when we went to test drive our vehicle. We were happy with our salesperson, however, when I pointed out somet Our experience started off as a good one when we went to test drive our vehicle. We were happy with our salesperson, however, when I pointed out something needed to be fixed (the passenger side air bag) PRIOR to pick up 2 days later, it was not taken care of, nor were parts ordered. This turned into a whirlwind and nightmare, and I ended up being without my car for almost 2 weeks. The voice command system was not working, nor the garage code configuration on top of it. The part that was needed for the airbag was missing from the first order, and then I had to wait another week for the part to come in. While Lisa was generous in making a rental car work for those almost 2 weeks at no cost to us (thank you again), it was a hassle and not ideal for our overall situation. On the night of pick up we reviewed the certified checklist and noticed it was not fully completed. Some areas were marked as not checked at all (engine compartments) and some areas were marked as needing service, but did not have the "service complete" checked. When taken to the manager, he just checked it off, but we were told he looked it up in the computer. My husband could see into his office, and he did not see the manager on the computer at all. When our missing part was not in the original order that first week, I wish that it would have been expedited given that this was an issue pointed out PRIOR to our picking up the vehicle. Honestly, the part should have been ordered the day after I pointed it out, and our pick up/delivery should have been changed to accommodate not picking it up until it was fully ready. This would have saved me and my husband a lot of stress and driving back and forth. More
