Tim, the salesman, was great during our first conversation on Sunday — but after that, the experience went completely downhill. I submitted a credit application listing myself as the primary buye conversation on Sunday — but after that, the experience went completely downhill. I submitted a credit application listing myself as the primary buyer and my brother as the co-signer, since my insurance requires me to be the primary loan holder. To avoid any confusion, we even double-checked with Tim that day to make sure everything was filled out correctly — and he confirmed it was. Despite that, the dealership completely ignored that information and left a voicemail for my co-signer, telling him he was approved and to call them back. My co-signer called the manager and clearly explained that I was the actual buyer, and they needed to speak with me directly. He gave them my number and made it crystal clear who should be handling the conversation. Still — no one reached out to me. I called back again myself to try and keep the deal moving, only to be told again the manager wasn’t available — and once again, no one followed up. It felt like I was chasing them down just to give them my money. That’s beyond frustrating. By Tuesday, I’d had enough and called to cancel the deal and get my deposit back. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t about credit or money. I told them from day one that I was putting $5,000 down on a $14,000 car. I was serious, ready, and clear — and I was treated like I didn’t even exist. The fact that the manager couldn’t be bothered to speak to the actual buyer after multiple requests is completely unprofessional. I’m taking my business elsewhere — to a dealership that respects and communicates with its customers, not one that treats them like an inconvenience. Edit: Derek, the owner, personally reached out to me, apologized for the misunderstanding, and took full responsibility for what happened. He made sure the situation was completely resolved. I also spoke with the manager, who explained everything clearly and helped make things right. I truly appreciate when a business takes the time to address issues instead of avoiding them. That kind of accountability speaks volumes. I would absolutely come back and do business with them again. I respect local businesses that are genuine, down-to-earth, and actually care about their customers. More
