Out of State Buying Nightmare I was in the market for a used Lexus GSF and based on market had to look outside Florida. I had a very low mileage Honda Type R that I was looking to trade. (2,800 miles) Doug Philipps (Sales Manager Westside Lexus) was sending me info and working the transaction on a Certified 2016 Lexus GSF. The photos and representation were very misleading and when I drove to the dealership ( over 1,075 miles from Florida) the vehicle was not even close to excellent condition inside and out. The vehicle had so many rock chips on the front of car . The front would need repainting and the carbon fiber spoiler repaired. The side had been dinged and paint was left with chips on the vehicle. ( no touch up paint) When I arrived I was met by Danny Garza. He seemed to care very little about my representation about the cars condition and put no effort into the time and effort I put into buying a car from them. I never received a phone call or email. I tried to call Doug from Dealership that Monday August 5, 2019 with Danny standing there but didn't speak with him. I just can't believe a Lexus Dealership does business this way. More

Bought my car and I was in and out in less than one hour. I saw a GS350 online and because its L-certified, I knew I could trust it, without seeing it in person or driving it. I called Doug Phillips and we talked about the proce over the phone. I told him I have my lunch hour to get "everything" done. I arrived, the paperwork was ready and everything was in order as I expected and I was finished with him within 10 minutes. He brought me to finance and Sinh Pham was my next contact. He was very efficient and finished my application and explaining the different service enhancement packages available within 30 minutes. Everyone was respectful of my time, which I appreciated. Sinh got me a better rate than my bank did. I signed my paperwork and left within one hour of arriving. I came back to pick up the car after work and Doug patiently walked me through the features of the car, set up my phone, etc. He was informative at the appropriate level of understanding I needed. THAT is the epitome of customer satisfaction. I am busy running two businesses and I want to be heard, respected, and delighted when I'm making a big purchase like a car. I bought a car just 2 weeks prior from a different car dealership (for myself... This Lexus was for my husband.) And the process took over 3 hours. I was exhausted and deflated that time so imagine my excitement and delight when I left Westside Lexus!!! The experience was like night and day. I'm happy I came to Westside.
