I value his candor and going the extra mile to make everything a good experience. He really listened to me and I felt totally cared for. He made me feel like I was special. And Ed Downing is very special. He impressed me with his ready and genuine smile and he remembered me from a few years ago. He is the opposite of the old, closed faced somber manager type that likes to intimidate. He took time for me and made me feel important. I see now this is who he is consistently. So refreshing to experience a manager who gets the idea that haggling is no longer the desired method of purchasing for many of us. Retired customers like me who live on dwindling middle class fixed incomes and have to continue to work part time to keep up a simple middle class lifestyle are on the internet doing lots of research ahead and know what we can afford. Ed never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable and was never condescending like some others. Just when I was thinking I may no longer be able to own a Nissan, Jose and Ed showed me I was wrong. They did everything they could to help me stay a Nissan customer. They have my gratitude. The gentleman that handled my lease paperwork was so lovely. I apologize but am not sure if his name was Harold. I think he could see I was exhausted and was so gentle and efficient. His questions and offers were done in a caring way and never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. Never had that before in this crucial last step of a long day. All this is why I titled my review a "Great Experience". More
