I purchased two vehicles within a month. On each occasion I was treated politely and respectfully. I fully understand that the automotive industry per se is in a tight spot r/t inventory and ability of most people to finance cars with skyrocketting interest rates, but I never felt pressured. I have been burned by other dealerships in the past which makes me very cautious to begin with---I am expecting the worst. Perhaps it would be helpful for the sales force to explain the mechanical functioning of the vehicle viz a vis another model--things to look for--things to be cautious of (recalling the first time I crunched the nose of a Prius on a curb because they sit so low to the ground.) One or both of these cars will eventually be passed on to my granddaughters. We wanted safe and reliable cars for them as my wife and I drive very little. More
