Ed was very easy to deal with and I felt he was fair and honest. He also helped me after the sale. I came in after 4:00 and took delivery the same evening. The dealership folks were polite and Joe Foy was professional and I felt like I got a good rate on the financing. More

This was the fourth Toyota Dealership that I visited looking for a specific Pre-Owned Toyota Avalon. I called the dealership and spoke with Bob who was very helpful over the phone. He said that the sp looking for a specific Pre-Owned Toyota Avalon. I called the dealership and spoke with Bob who was very helpful over the phone. He said that the specific car I was looking for was there and I asked if it had any damage and he said he would check in the basement. Bob called me back within a few minutes and gave me the information about the car. I was an hours drive away and headed to Toyota of Braintree hoping that this was the vehicle I had been searching for. I visited the dealership on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. I stood at the desk for a very long time waiting for someone to greet me. Ed Hayes saw me standing there from his work area and he was working with another customer. He was attentive, helpful and friendly throughout the car buying experience. Ed was genuine in his approach to giving me all the details of the vehicle. He pointed out the imperfections immediately which I very much appreciated (having seen 5 of the same vehicle on the same day at other Toyota dealerships). The price was fair for the vehicle and we made the deal within a few minutes after test driving it. Ed got into the vehicle and showed me all the features (I stood outside the vehicle while he did this). He committed to fixing some of the body damage and I was satisfied with the terms. I liked working with Ed. He did not lay on the thick sales pitch that I do not like to hear (and got from four other dealers). I would recommend Ed and Bob to my friends and appreciate working with Toyota of Braintree. Thank you for a pleasant car buying experience! More

After purchasing my brand new Tacoma on a Saturday through Ed Hayes (good guy) , I came back on Monday for pick up, and wouldn’t you know there is a giant scratch going across the bed side flare. Luck through Ed Hayes (good guy) , I came back on Monday for pick up, and wouldn’t you know there is a giant scratch going across the bed side flare. Luckily I found it before leaving the lot, otherwise I would of owned it. Ed has no idea about it, apologized, and said they would replace it. Two weeks go by and the new part is finally in. Now I have to drive back to Braintree for a repair that shouldn’t even be necessary. I was told it would be about an hour to replace. I work As an auto body technician, so I understand an hour is a fair amount of time. Well it took them about 4 hours for the repair. I speak with Ed about being compensated for my time. I asked for 3 oil changes for future use. Seeing how this should of never of happened, no one owned up to the damage, etc. This is when Bob steps in, telling me, “so is an oil change gonna make you feel better?” As he writes down “owes one oil change” on a business card and hands it to me. I said I wanted 3, he tells me no. As if the money is coming out of his pocket? I don’t understand why he has turned this into a negotiation? They goofed and need to make it right. He tells me they just can’t be handing these out to everybody. Your right, you should only give them to people you accidentally screwed over. He insists stuff happens. Really? How often do you guys damage vehicles and hide it from the customers? At this point he keeps asking, “so are we happy with this or what?” I keep saying no and that this is unacceptable. He tells me that’s all he’s gonna do so I could take it or leave it. Furious at this point, I had to step walk away, knowing that all I can do now Is write my reviews and call Toyota and explain to them directly how condescending, smug, and arrogant Bob is. All because I asked to be compensated for their mess up. Trying to make me feel like I was the one in the wrong. More
