My concern is that your technician took the easy way out and replaced the entire steering rack when in reality the cause was low voltage appled to the sensor system by a bad battery. To clarify I was an automotive technician for over 40 years with ASE certification in 8 of 9 technical areas. I am too old at this point in my life to do repairs. I feel that having brought my vehicle back 3 times and finally having the problem diagnosed and repaired i should be given the benifit of some sort of compensation.
