The service manager, Jerome, told my wife it would be $630 to fix and proceeded to barter with my wife until he said they would fix it for $250. Then when my wife told him her husband, me, could fix it he proceeded to scare her telling her if she doesn’t use OEM parts she would be in danger while driving. My issue is the fact I bought a certified used Nissan which they claim had a 167 point inspection and the suspension was marked meets standards. In hindsight I should have immediately brought it back for the rattle but the fact he said it was worn out in the less than 300 miles is ridiculous. I would definitely buy a car from the dealership but I would drive 100 miles out of my way not to use the service department and have to deal with Jerome. End note. I bought 2 OEM sway bar links from a Nissan dealer in Wisconsin for $34 a piece and had them replaced in less than an hour using a jack and jack stands not a lift. More
