This was discussed in a phone conversation we had to make an appointment for a test drive. I was handed off to Felkis Samiter, who added a documentation fee of $379. When I questioned Felkis, he gave me a long winded explanation that the doc fees are not taxed and not included in the price of the CRV. Felkis did not consult Bill, and insisted that the fees were necessary for Clinton Honda to make a profit on the vehicle. Also, I requested that I be allowed to register the CRV with motor vehicles, but was told that was impossible, that Clinton Honda HAD to register the CRV, and that I had to give my social security number for motor vehicles. As I have a security clearance with the Federal government, I have to assume that Clinton Honda has robust security measures in place to protect their customer database and that all who has access to their database have been properly screened. I must admit that everyone in the dealership was friendly and courteous, but because of the reasons above, Clinton Honda is the same as all the rest and does not warrant any special recommendation from me. More
