I apologize that our staff did not meet or exceed your expectations. The success of our business is built on honesty, integrity and the outstanding customer excellence we deliver day in and day out. I would like to address a few things that you mentioned in your DealerRater review. As you may be aware, the current automobile industry has been very competitive among both sellers and buyers. This increase in demand is a direct result from the limited inventory in the current climate. I am sure you understand this, because you were willing to drive four hours, instead of purchasing a vehicle closer to your own residence. Inventory is limited EVERYWHERE, not just in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I have spoken to Fred Clark, the salesperson that has taken the brunt of this negative review. I needed clarification and an objective voice prior to responding. Fred Clark is a long-term salesperson, and consistently delivers superb service. He has excellent reviews and ratings, especially with DealerRater. He possesses outstanding qualities and is a positive representation of the Bournival Team. I understand your frustration and disappointment, but we were not malicious or trying to represent any ill behavior during your communication. Fred contacted you prior to your drive. He discussed the limited inventory, and that you had the option to leave a refundable deposit, to guarantee availability upon arrival. There are specific processes we have implemented to mitigate this gray area on the sales floor. All vehicles are available in our inventory, until there is a deposit collected.
