Hi Abby, Here is my response to Matt: Matt, I do appreciate you responding to my email while you are spending time with your family. My best friend actually works for Fidelity in Albuquerque. Very cold this time of year. I too wish I could be spending time with my family and had hoped to have had this purchase completed by now. My intention was not to suggest that you have a "bunch of crooks" working for you. My aim was to share my experience with working with your dealership and convey, in my opinion, the actions or inactions from your staff communicate a lack of willingness to work with me. The condescending attitude I attributed to because I am a woman. In my review , I tried to be as brief as possible. I will amend it to reflect a more accurate assessment as to be clearer. I have to admit, I have a bit of trepidation about calling if you are already 100% sure of your position. Instead I will share with you my experience in detail in writing. If you still wish to speak with me after reading this then please feel free to email me back and I will call you. Please understand this is my experience from my perspective. It could serve as an insight that you may not be aware of. Please be open minded. That being said, I would like to give you the whole picture from my point of view by outlining the timeline. (In an effort to clarify, this will be part of my amended review, less the personal family information. Those that are close to our family and company are already aware of our circumstance) 4/18/2013- Purchased a Toyota Matrix for my daughter from Beaver Toyota. Faron Gallon was the salesman. 9/20/2013 ~ I spoke to Faron Gallon. I explained that I was looking to buy two used vehicles for my company, Conscious Clean. My entire business education can be summed up in the following: create and maintain good business relationships. Since Faron and I had already had dealing earlier in the year , he came across as a gregarious and likable guy, I asked him to look for 2 vehicles. Two minivans with under 60,000 miles with an asking price around 13,000. 9/23/2013 ~ Faron returned my call , but called my husband. My husband gave me the message and I called Faron back. Faron wanted me to come into the showroom before they could pull any options. I explained that on 09/13/2013 my best friend of 24 years had committed suicide. My godson, who is 20 years old, came to live with our family following this event. My time was very limited and I was juggling a lot . I really need to be able to communicate via email and phone and know for sure before coming into the dealership. Faron offered his condolences and was kind. He advised he would be in touch. 10/15/2013 ~ Called left message about availability. Followed up with an email. 10/15/2013 ~ Received and email back from Eli Thrift and then from Faron stating he had a 2010 Honda Odyssey , asking price 17K+ ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* 10/15/2013 ~ Replied to Faron the following: Hi Farron, I did get your message. That cost is way over our budget. We were hoping to make a deal for 10000 each. I know that is less than KBB but I have found a few online that are out of state (PA and Jersey) that meet the criteria that I set forth. (Honda/Toyota 2010 <60000 miles) If you could put together a deal for 2 vehicles. I am willing to wait until next week when the stock comes in. We are wanting to have the financing all together. Also, you mentioned in your message that you had some clean Siennas. What are the particulars on those? Mileage? Price?
