If I could give negative stars on the service department I would. I am never going to Mohawk Honda for service ever again! I’ve been there 2 times for service and both times they messed up my service. Let’s I would. I am never going to Mohawk Honda for service ever again! I’ve been there 2 times for service and both times they messed up my service. Let’s begin with the first visit. One of the things I asked for when making the appointment and arriving for the appointment was a simple oil and filter change. When I got the car back, the oil was not changed and the multipoint inspection indicated the oil levels were good. Two days later my oil light went on and I had to do it myself. On the second and most recent visit, I came in on a wednesday for several services, one being my windshield wipers, as they were working but misaligned. They could not complete this service on Wednesday because they had to order parts, and asked me to come back Friday. Okay. Friday rolls around and I drop off my car before work at 2 pm, and was told I could pick up the car after closing at 8 pm as long as I paid over the phone and had a spare key to unlock it. My service advisor, Gunnar Shifley, said he would be there until 5 and would call me when it’s done. Okay. 4 pm comes on Friday and I am left a voicemail that says the part they ordered is broken and they will have to do it Saturday. I tried to call my service advisor, and was told he left early and wasn’t going to be back all weekend. I understand things happen and stuff breaks, so I said fine I will pick up my car tonight and bring it back Saturday morning before work at 8 am, as they offered me a rental for the inconvenience. 2 minutes after offering the rental on the phone, I’m told by both mike Malone and Ian O’Connor that I should just “pay for an Uber” to get to work instead. I did not pay tens of thousands of dollars for a car just to have to take an Uber for something that wasn’t even my fault! What happened to getting a rental?? Then I was told by Ian O’Connor that he would pay double for my Uber ($20 is nothing to take off the price when you’ve just spent $1,500 and they’re screwing you over and leaving you carless). I was also extremely offended when they said this to me, because you could tell they did not care that they left me without a car at last minute. They then say that the next day they will drop my car off to me at my job when it’s done before 2 pm, which is when I get out of work on Saturday. So 1:40 rolls around Saturday and I was told that there is only one driver, so they will have to have a shuttle pick me up and bring me there. They did not show up to my job until 2:30, not only did I miss a doctors appointment, but I also had to make my SO leave work early to come get me and bring me to get my car because I could not wait. When I arrived to pick up my car, some old guy argued with me about calling me to make sure I was still getting out at 2 to come pick me up, why would my work hours suddenly change out of nowhere? Anyways, the service there sucks, the employees are rude, and they don’t know what the xxxx they’re doing cause I even left a list in my car of everything I needed done because they didn’t do my oil change last time and they STILL forgot to put new wiper blades on after they fixed the wipers. Good luck to anyone else that has to deal with their xxxx. More

Turning our lease into ownership Working with Mohawk Honda, specifically Cameron McKenna is all you need to do when you're looking for a car. We needed to trade in our 2010 Volvo XC90 Working with Mohawk Honda, specifically Cameron McKenna is all you need to do when you're looking for a car. We needed to trade in our 2010 Volvo XC90 2 years ago and went with a lease on a 2018 Pilot bc the deal was too good to walk away from. Fast forward 2 years, loving my pilot, just made sense to buy out the lease (so I stopped stressing about miles) and it was an easy (albeit long afternoon) process to do so. Got an amazing deal, fits our budget, and Cam was again a delight to work with as well as his colleague Alex who was with me when Cam was with other clients and Mike Speranza was a dream to work with on the financing end. I'll be back in 6 years when I need a new car! :) More

Best experience ever!! I purchased my first Honda, a Civic coupe in 2010, at the previous location in Schenectady. I loved every feature of my Civic & would still be driving I purchased my first Honda, a Civic coupe in 2010, at the previous location in Schenectady. I loved every feature of my Civic & would still be driving it but a careless driver hit me on 02/27/2020 & it was totaled. For 10 years I had my Civic serviced at Mohawk Honda & was always very pleased. I became interested in the HRV about 2 years ago & felt that it could be my future vehicle. Saturday I met Chris Becktoft who was the salesman for a friend, who happened to be with me that day. Right away Chris was extremely helpful to hear my story(about my MVA) & to guide me in a new purchase. A friend recommended Mohawk Honda because of Adam Karian. I met Adam Saturday also & he made me feel very welcome. I test drove a 2020 HRV on Saturday & purchased it today, 03/02/2020. Chris, Adam, Brad, Gunnar & Gabe made my buying experience today very comfortable. You are a great team & I thank you all very much for your wonderful service!! More

Unexpected Purchase My husband and I stopped in due to a text message regarding trading in our current Honda and we really didn't think we would be purchasing a new vehic My husband and I stopped in due to a text message regarding trading in our current Honda and we really didn't think we would be purchasing a new vehicle; but we did. Alex Hernandez made us an offer we couldn't refuse and John Barber made the financing very easy. We will be a customer of Mohawk Honda for years to come. More

Everyone at Mohawk honda was professional and friendly. I felt like I was working with a family friend throughout my purchase experience. And a big thanks to Brandon for asking me to give Mohawk a chance to make a better deal than a previous dealership. Without both Heather and Brandon I may have shopped elsewhere. Cam McKenna stepped in and made it easy to say yes to this dealership. I am very happy to be a part of the Mohawk family! Mike in finance I did not forget you. Our Experience Gunnar dealt with us honestly and fairly. Our credit is not the best so he was able to put us in a car(lease) with our car and zero down. We still o Gunnar dealt with us honestly and fairly. Our credit is not the best so he was able to put us in a car(lease) with our car and zero down. We still owed four years on the Chevy. After three years in our lease we will buy it outright with the remaining balance. Three years from now we would still not be done paying on the Chevy. Once we are done with the lease and have paid off the car, we plan on trading it in for a new Honda and plan on financing this time and I know the monthly payment will be much lower. Gunnar is a very nice young man and my wife and I enjoyed working with him so stop by and see him if your looking to get into a new car More

Incredible Service Totally recommend GUNNAR I had gone into this dealership with very low expectations, negative equity, and poor credit; a recipe for disaster.
