I am, The price I discussed with the salesman was not the price reflected on the sales contract. Missing this very important detail is 100% my fault. I am, however, of the mind that this was done deliberately by the finance manager, Joseph. It's possible that my salesman, Henry, is culpable. I purposely excluded their last names out of respect for their privacy. In any event, this mistake is one I will not repeat. Beyond this unfortunate mishap, I agree, the service at this dealership is a cut above the rest. They get you in an out about as quickly as one can expect, and they take their time to show you the vehicle and such. *Update* The salesman tells me the inflated price is due to a "NJ preparation fee" that is incorporated into the price of the vehicle. Coincidentally this fee completely offsets the lower price I thought we agreed upon during the bargaining phase of the used car purchase. That seems awfully convenient, especially since this fee is not broken out and itemized. I reached out to Michael the store's general manager. He is not pleased with my negative review on the dealership and responded with the following in an email. Nigel I will not help you if you do not remove that review. You have not given I chance to look into your transaction. Please advise. Michael R. Podell General Manager Salerno Duane Auto Group Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram & Ford More

However, after meeting Sergio, not only did he make us feel very welcome but also gave no "pressure" typical of when one is purchasing a new vehicle. Sergio is a true professional...cares about his clients & goes above & beyond what is expected. He is very helpful & genuine! Thank you Sergio (and Henry :)!! More

Started Off Great......But then... I was really excited to try this "off the beaten path" dealership figuring I would get better personal attention and service than the dealerships on t I was really excited to try this "off the beaten path" dealership figuring I would get better personal attention and service than the dealerships on the main roads. They lived up to those expectations only 50% of the time. I came in looking to lease a new Jeep since my lease was ending and I was over my mileage limit on my current Jeep lease. I told them the car I wanted and the lease payment I was willing to pay and they found me exactly what I was looking for. Since they didn't have the car on the lot, I made a down payment with the intention of returning the next day to pick it up. Everything up to that point was perfect and as expected. After that, it was all down hill. The next day I returned to pick up the car at an agreed upon time. When I arrived, the car nor the paperwork were ready for me. Unlike the previous day (when I had the complete attention of the sales person) I had to sit and wait for the paperwork to be passed from department to department because the salesperson was busy waiting on other people. What was the point of agreeing on a time for me to pick up the car if you had no intention of having everything ready for me? I felt like I wasn't at the top of their priority list since they had already made the sale to me. But to me, I feel like the process isn't complete until I have the new car keys in hand. They should have treated me with the same respect both before, during and after I had put money down. The worst part of the experience came next. As I was sitting in the showroom waiting for my paperwork, two employees had to move the two cars parked on either side of me so they could get to another car parked deeper in the showroom. However, no-one bothered to check if anyone was sitting behind these cars. All of the sudden, I had FOUR tailpipes (less than three feet away) blowing exhaust directly into my face. At that point, I was nauseous from having to breathe fumes and tired of waiting for my paperwork. When they finally had everything ready for me to sign, the finance representative asked how my experience was. When I told him about being blasted with exhaust, he seemed sympathetic and said he would speak to someone. I never heard back from anyone. I hope if you're reading this, you would imagine yourself in my shoes and ask yourself, "Is this what I want my next car buying experience to be like?" More
