Claremont Toyota inflated the price of my car 5000 due to the pandemic I was told. I have spoken to others who have purchased cars from other dealers in the area and this is not the norm or general practice the pandemic I was told. I was told the version of the car I was getting had items I wanted and when I got home to check it all out, I found out that I DID NOT have the items I was looking for even after being told that I did. I can not express my anger and disappointment in this realization. He kept saying yes its right here and would point to an area that I really could not focus on I was driving. I feel swindled. The sales person tried to slide the extra 5K in as no big deal I just happened to turn to see him write it down. I was told that it was company standard due to covid. What a crock. I am saddened and frustrate that I purchased my car here at Claremont Toyota. I was told that the XLE had exactly the same items as the Premium package except for moonroof, and different carpet mats. Come to find out this is NOT the case and that the navigation system does not work for me because I have an android phone versus an iPhone. found this out after I ha signed all the paperwork and asked to show me how to do basic set up. I should have said no and walked away right then and there but I did not realize all of the other items that were not included that I was told was included. My Biggest issue was the music is too loud to even think in the showroom. I could not hear or understand someone who was across the counter from me. I did not leave excited that I had a new car only exhausted. I arrived around 4 and I left around 8. I understand I have some accountability here but this is the 6th car I have purchased and folks spoke of issues that they could not nor did not deliver on. Sad, its just sad I can not speak to the service dept I have not need this yet.. More
