If you are looking for a "good deal" with no hassle I would not recommend this dealer. We wanted to actually buy a car from this dealer as it was close to our home and if we need service it's co hassle I would not recommend this dealer. Issues we had: The Sales Department - we started shopping for a car, did our research, went and test drove the car, then back again - sales person we first worked with was unavailable, so we worked with another sales rep - who provided us with incorrect facts about the car. We then went back for a third time and at this point were ready to purchase the car, but yet again the two previous sales reps we worked with were unavailable and now we are on our third sales rep and second manager. We discussed price, then asked for an appraisal on our trade in, they came back with an insulting trade in value, as we had gone to CarMax and they were $1800 higher. We told the sales manager this was insulting and wondered if he would consider more for the trade in, at that point he said go to CarMax and get that, you won't get anything higher (we did at Honda of Joliet $2000 higher than their quote). We left and went to Honda of Joliet and purchased our vehicle, although it is now in the shop for an oil leak - we've had the car one week. SERVICE Dept - I brought my car that we've owned for one week to Valley Honda as it is close to our house. Immediately I was told that I didn't purchase the car from them, really? I'm well aware of that. Then he said too bad you didn't see the oil leak before you bought the car. Ok. Long story short I had to "beg" for a loaner - because I didn't purchase the car from that dealer and he told me they had to rip the engine apart to see where the leak was coming from. In summary, take the time to go to a dealer who wants to make a sale and actually will work with you. If you have a trade in - go to car max and get it appraised - they will give you a written quote and it was "free". More

Joe Barsalona made the new car buying experience a very easy task. I needed a new car as my car was totaled in an accident that was not my fault. We were in the market for a high mileage used vehicle for our soon to be 16 year old son.We chose to visit Valley Honda of Naperville/Aurora because they had an extensive selection of used vehicles in the pr our soon to be 16 year old son.We chose to visit Valley Honda of Naperville/Aurora because they had an extensive selection of used vehicles in the price range we wanted. Alicia Machen was our sales representative. I could tell immediately that we were going to get along great. She introduced herself, and made sure to include our 12 year old daughter (the car is a surprise, so the 16 year old wasn't with us). We had a few cars that we wanted to see based on our web searches, but Alicia found out very quickly that 2 of the three had already been sold that morning (the place was packed - first nice day in ages). She rounded up the one we thought we wanted, but then spent a ton of time helping us look at other options since the 2000 CRV we originally drove didn't meet our expectations. In all we test drove 4 vehicles, and ended up picking a 2003 Toyta Rav 4 that we are really happy with. Alicia was extremely helpful, very professional and polite, and a joy to work with. She even helped us google places we could buy one of those giant bows to put on it for the big surprise :) She was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a used or new car. The dealership itself is great - very clean and comfortable, REALLY nice waiting area for service with free PC's, laptops you can check out, free GOOD coffee and bottle water, etc. Everyone we met, from Alicia to Jab the sales manager was very polite and friendly. Jab was so wonderful to work with at Valley Honda. We are in Colorado, and through AutoTrader found our Odyssey. I was very specific in what I wanted, and as soon as I found a certified Odyssey that mat are in Colorado, and through AutoTrader found our Odyssey. I was very specific in what I wanted, and as soon as I found a certified Odyssey that matched my criteria, I called Valley Honda. I was connected with Jab, and he was easy to work with, honest about the background on the vehicle. We completed the paperwork via FedEx, and my husband flew out to pickup the van and drive it back. Jab was AWESOME!! He picked up my husband at O'Hare - over an hour away. Now THAT is customer service! We've had the Odyssey 1 year now - and put over 50,000 miles on it driving to dog events. I cannot say enough nice things about the van, our buying experience, and Jab willing to go the extra mile!! I can't wait until we need another Odyssey - I know where I'm going! More

First off, I would like to thank Jab for doing an outstanding job working out a deal for us at the last minute. We had wrecked a car and needed something quickly. Once we found what we wanted online, Jab quickly responded to my email and then phoned. We were going to be traveling from Rockford, about 1 1/2 hours and we did not want to make 2 trips or waste our time. Jab was able to get me where i needed to be price wise before we even left the house. When we arrived he had the vehicle prepped and ready, warming up in the lot so we could take our test drive in a warm car. No one else has ever done that. The test drive was just a formality, so we went right to the paper work. Our total time at the dealer until we left with our new vehicle was 1 hour 45 minutes, the fastest ever. Everyone we dealt with was extremly friendly and helpful. I have never seen a cleaner, nicer dealership. Even the shop area was spotless. I would recommend Valley Honda and Jab to anyone. I even plan to make the trips for service instead of using our local Honda Dealer. Plain and simple the BEST car buying experience I have encountered. Thanks so much, The Mershon Family More
