Customer service was worth the drive from the very beginning of my interest. Jacob Burns did not pressure me. He stayed in contact even though I was on the fence with buying another Volvo because of p beginning of my interest. Jacob Burns did not pressure me. He stayed in contact even though I was on the fence with buying another Volvo because of poor service from Don Beyer staff in Sterling, VA. They tarnished the name of Volvo with their haughty old school xx- take it or leave it mentality. Jacob's ability to keep me interested in another Volvo is the only reason I am returning. His manager made my day from the beginning with the assurance they will make me happy and my drive would be worth it and they did. Even financial person was clear and closed with excellent advice. Driving from Virginia to Maryland was worth the drive. Silver Spring Volvo should be the model on how to retain Volvo customers. No pressure, no hard selling, just like excellent customer service use to be. Volvo corporate should use this store as a model. I don't brag about Luke warm service, they truly exercised quality. Recently purchased a CPO vehicle from this dealership and although the transaction went smoothly, I felt that the agent that I dealt with was not the most attentive. For example, he didn’t ensure that all th although the transaction went smoothly, I felt that the agent that I dealt with was not the most attentive. For example, he didn’t ensure that all things were running properly/updated on the vehicle (internet/modem connection) and within days of having the vehicle, both key fobs gave a low battery warning. He also rushed through our scheduled follow-up tutorial of the popular features on the vehicle to attend to a new set of clients, which I would understand if I had popped up unexpectedly…BUT I contacted him days prior to give him advance notice that I would be coming. Additionally, he cut the test drive shorter than ANY test drive I had previously experienced but thankfully I had previously test driven the exact model I was in the market to purchase. Thankfully, another senior sales agent, Eddie, was extremely helpful and graciously stepped in to help smooth things out on the day I returned for a follow-up tutorial of the features of the vehicle. Overall, I would rate this dealership a 4/4.5 while giving the agent I worked with a solid 3. More
