Jamie was very good and the loaner process was quick and easy. I also bumped into Seb who sold us the car and it was good to catch up. My only complaint is that I was told that we need new tires before winter. The car is just over one year old and the tires look brand new. If my wife had been there, she might have accepted that diagnosis. It is unethical to make recommendations about tires and/or brakes or other safety related items that are clearly not in need of replacement. I will give some thought about what to do in the future. I do not think that this was an innocent mistake. I can bring the car back and you can ask all of your owners, mechanics and service personnel to look at the tires. The brakes were also listed as “fine for now”, but need to be watched closely. I will be forwarding these comments in more detail to BMW. I doubt that BMW advertises buying a car and then replacing tires and brakes every 1-2 years. For the sake of good order, my wife drives less than 12 k per year. Very disappointed! More
