Jake grew up in the small town of Mt. Carmel, IL. He is second generation in the automotive business, His father has owned and operated Bishop Motors for over 48 years. After graduating EKU with a BA in Communication Studies he went back to the family business of helping people get in to automobiles. After spending time working for his dad, he went to Kenny Kent Chevrolet where he spent some time working on product knowledge and customer service. He moved to the Louisville market to be around his loving wife (Alexa) and her family. He has been with the Hook family now for 4+ years and enjoys spending time with his customers and helping them get into vehicles that they love. His hobbies include spending time with family, golf, and poker. One of his biggest dreams includes being on the show Survivor one day. If you have any questions he would love to help provide you with the right answers along with the exceptional customer service he can provide.

Used car purchase I hate the typical car buying experience - frustrating, time consuming, and gaming with each other. Jake was exactly the opposite - accommodating, fr I hate the typical car buying experience - frustrating, time consuming, and gaming with each other. Jake was exactly the opposite - accommodating, friendly and no pressure for any rash decision making. Gave me a fair deal to begin with. Any concerns I voiced about the condition of the vehicle, he made every effort to make it right. Just wanna start of by saying I was a bag of nerves 😂 due to the fact it was my first dealership experience. A friend recommended Jake Bishop because how personable and how he makes it a positive experie due to the fact it was my first dealership experience. Waste of time I came in asking for a vehicle 5 persons could fit Online I selected Traverse bc it was 1st I was rushing my application. I told Jake I wanted somethi I came in asking for a vehicle 5 persons could fit Online I selected Traverse bc it was 1st I was rushing my application. I told Jake I wanted something in the $350 range he tells me of I could get a traverse for $350/Mo I would have one. Huh, why are you stuck on a traverse if I said I want something 5 ppl can fit inside of? The whole entire time that was wasted he kept talking to me like I was uneducated I have 2 business degrees. I had to suggest to him to look at used vehicles he pulls up online inventory. I asked to see a vehicle then he says oh I can't sell that sorry I took up your time that's all I have. I asked to use my job discount he says we'll see. After he found out he wasn't getting any down payment money to pocket he didn't want to sell me a vehicle. Most ppl tell you when inventory comes in & to come back or they'll call you. Shannon says save some money & come back. Huh I have a tax return of $11000 in my bank, ins policy of $25,000 I'm not putting any money down bc I like my money in the bank. I will make sure no one in my sorority, church, job, or places I volunteer come here. Jake Bishop lacks customer service skills/customer retention skills/lacks basic communication skills . Save your time going there. More
