Tried to make an appointment to test drive a civic Si. Was informed it is not permitted as it is a performance car. I have owned two Si’s a 2012 and 2014 which I purchased brand new. No one said “it was a performance car so you cannot”. I am in the market for a new car and have test drove the VW (GTI)- 241 horsepower, Subaru (WRX) -271 horsepower, Hyndia Elantra N,-276 horsepower BMW 235m-312 horsepower, Audi S3, and Acura Integra type S. All of these cars were excellent and a good value for an enthusiast who appreciates a fun ride on a moderate budget like myself. That said, given that my driveway is loaded with Honda’s 4 to be exact including the older Si, discussed above I wanted to include the newer 2025 Si in the mix. I heard it lacks the zippy fun ride it once had and is somewhat under powered when compared to the rest the field 200 horsepower (less than my 2014 but with more weight) . Not a performance car at all, just good styling with a manual transmission. So you could imagine it was a bit off putting that this dealership expected a person to purchase a vehicle without benefit of a test drive. As such I needed to rate them poorly simply for stupidity. Moreover if you are an enthusiast in the market for a car that is fun to drive and would make a good daily driver I would suggest trying the others mentioned above and avoid the Si. The Si is wonderful and makes for a good retirement vehicle no different than any other civic. In fact the civic hybrid has more horsepower and is faster 0-60. I have since test drove one at a dealership who has some level of intelligence. Not a performance car at all!!! More

I signed up for the new Pilot on the spot and within budget. The next day, all my wife had to do was sit with the finance manager, Seth who was professional, efficient, and very friendly. This was probably the best car-buying experience I have had. More
