A dream come true. When I was 13 years old I moved to Lausanne, Switzerland where we had to stay in a hotel until our apartment was move in ready...and the hotel was ne When I was 13 years old I moved to Lausanne, Switzerland where we had to stay in a hotel until our apartment was move in ready...and the hotel was next to a Ferrari dealership where I spent every afternoon falling in love with Ferrari cars...and that was 56 years ago. I have been visiting/hanging out at the Ferrari of San Francisco dealership for many years now--since my company builds in California and I have far flung children there as well--and made up my mind that if I ever were to buy one of these magnificent machines--I would do so there--even though it is on the other side of the continent from where I live. I came in to look at another car, which had been sold by the time I arrived. James--whom I knew well and who had always made time for me over the years I was simply admiring--was very busy and introduced me to Peter Chiappone--who listened to my story and told me it was probably best the car I wanted was not available--given it was an older model and less user friendly for someone like me who intends to drive it frequently--and not always in good conditions. He then told me there was a car available--but well over my budget--but felt I should take a look anyway. Not only was it way over my intended budget--but ti also exceeded any expectations I could have possibly dreamed (a 2019 GTC4 Lusso)--complete with AWD and an actual four seater... What I appreciated was that I never felt any pressure to buy the vehicle--he simply uncovered what I longed for in an automobile and I came to the conclusion on my own cognizance that there was probably not a more perfect car imaginable. Even with the current chaos of the virus crisis and the attendant difficulties with business closures--we found a way to handle all the details of financing, transportation/delivery, and registration across the country. Peter never glossed anything over--and when there were omissions or logistical hurdles he always took responsibility to make things right--whether the problem was at his doorstep or anyone else's. We also found common ground--I so while I bought a magnificent car, I also found a kindred spirit and fellow Italian friend....and am filled with gratitude for such a positive outcome on many levels...not what I anticipated going there unsure whether I really wanted to buy a car or not. I can say I found the certainty I was looking for--and wholeheartedly recommend everyone connected with this dealership. Thank you--all of you--for being inviting for many years-and requiring nothing. More

Great Experience I was looking for many years to buy my first Ferrari. I almost decided on F12 Berlinetta. I first contacted Ferrari of Silicon Valley as it was closer I was looking for many years to buy my first Ferrari. I almost decided on F12 Berlinetta. I first contacted Ferrari of Silicon Valley as it was closer to my home and I put a deposit. When the news come out about 812 Superfast, I instantly decided that was the car I wanted. Despite the fact I put the deposit which was cached immediately, it was very hard to get in touch with sales and calls were not returned. At some point I had enough of it and thought there must be a better way. I contacted Ferrari of San Francisco, and it was so much better. I put a deposit too, on March 2018, to improve my chances of getting my dream car. I configured the car with Mirsonia Troedel, then I waited. Then, December 27, 2018, I was contacted by Peter Chiappone which took over after Mirsonia left. Peter brought the interaction with Ferrari do a totally different level. Because of past experience, at times I was not an easy customer, but Peter managed the relationship skillfully. Things moved quite quickly and I was impressed with the professional way he dealt with everything. The day I picked the car, Peter had to be on a business trip, but Tom McAfee filled in. I was impressed with his experience and knowledge. After I took ownership of the car, Peter kept in touch with me, always with good advise to my questions. It was a great experience. I purchased many cars over the years, BMWs, Mercedes, Maserati. The interaction with Peter topped them all. He turned a customer that could have been problematic into a fan of the brand and the dealership. Thank you, Peter. More
