He was a Sushi Chef before his interest in automobiles played a huge role in making automotive sales his career. Being fluent in English, Mandarin and a few other Chinese dialects has enabled James to better communicate with his clients and meet their needs. James' approach to his clients has always been with a strong work ethic, combined with sincerity and reliability. His choice of sports is swimming and badminton, while chocolate and a good movie always makes his day.

James worked patiently with me even though I accidentally didn't show up for a weekend appointment. When I did call to reschedule, he graciously accepted my apology and set a new appointment. After the test drive, he showed me other color options to ensure I had chosen the color I liked best, and described in general how the hybrid works. Later, he discussed the financing options and introduced me to Krystie for final processing. I have had to call James a few times after I took the car home. He has always been patient and offers to answer a question. As this is my first hybrid, I have many questions, which he has fielded kindly. He has been a wonderful representative of the Alfo Romeo product. More

We are discerning consumers, especially with automobiles (BMW brand loyalists for over 30+ years). We had choices from three Maserati dealerships in the DC metro area, but we decided to go out of our town (BMW brand loyalists for over 30+ years). We had choices from three Maserati dealerships in the DC metro area, but we decided to go out of our town in Virginia and chose Criswell Maserati in Germantown, Maryland. James Tan was the difference. He made our purchasing decision seamless and effortless. In short, James is a consummate professional who is a great listener and made earnest efforts to accommodate us. His in-depth knowledge of the Maserati brand and the Lavente Modena S was masterful and made our purchasing decision very efficient and stress-free. His communication was clear, he provided timely responses to our inquiries, and he was always respectful. Most importantly, my wife's experience on the day of pick-up was more than I expected, and that was priceless to me. I attribute this wonderful experience to James and his colleague, Krystie.
