Graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Marketing Management, I didn't know the automotive industry was my next step. However, the last 18 years have proven very enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. After serving in both Parts and Service for a Ford Dealership in Nebraska, my family and I moved to Kansas. Holm Automotive has been my home ever since, 11 years and counting. My favorite part has always been the customers and helping you feel at ease with our dealership. Desparate for Oil Change I had been traveling the country in my new GMC Sierra and needed an oil change and tire rotation. I contacted a couple dealerships in the Denver area I had been traveling the country in my new GMC Sierra and needed an oil change and tire rotation. I contacted a couple dealerships in the Denver area and was told that they could not accommodate me without an appointment in advance. I continued to travel east and spent the night in Abilene, Kansas. At 8:00am the next morning I stopped at Holm Automotive Center at spoke with Jamie Avers. I told him that I was traveling and needed an oil change. He said his schedule was pretty full and asked how long I'd be in town. I told him that I was leaving as soon as I could get service. He understood my predicament and did go way out of his way to help me. Within 45 minutes my oil was changed and tires were rotated and I was on my way. While I waited I took notice to how clean this dealership was and how the people who worked there seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. The service man, Jaime Avers, could not have been more accommodating and diligent. He was a fine and true professional. I almost never write reviews or participate in post service surveys which every business seems to push now days. However my experience with this dealership and Mr. Avers was exceptionally good. I happily submit this review and hope the dealership and Jamie Avers receive appropriate recognition. Thank You More

Difficulty with an oil change. I waited until I was more than 1000 miles over my oil change. I hadn't taken it for an oil change due to transportation difficulty. I didn't have a vehicle to return to work during the oil change. I attempted to make a couple of appointment but was forced to cancel due to lack of transportation. When I called to cancel my last appointment, Jamie answered the service phone. After I canceled my appointment , Jamie asked me why I had to cancel. I explained due to lack of transportation, I had to drop my vehicle off to a local dealership. Jamie said no way. He told me to drop my car off and he would have transportation ready. I called and dropped my vehicle off the next day during my lunch hour. The transition went so smooth, I still had time to grab lunch. After work I dropped the loaner vehicle off and my vehicle was ready as promised. I will never take my vehicle to anyone but Holm Automotive and I live in Junction City about 20 miles away.. It was worth the miles to see a friendly face and get awesome service. Thanks Jamie More

I always make an appointment with no problem, bring the car in I either sit in the waiting room, talk with the sales reps or just walk around the lot to see what's new. I spent about 45 mins to hour then I was at the pay counter and the out the door. More

Truck meets deer Andy and Dede in the body shop did a great job of getting my truck back in a timely manner. The truck looked like new. This was the second time I have used the body shop and have been completely satisfied both times. Pat Magee in the business office helped with a rental car and that was fast and painless. My family has purchased 5 vehicles from Holm and they don't just sell you a car they back it up with quality service in all departments. I have had numerous things done in the service department and Jamie Avers has always taken care of me. This is a quality dealership. More

I came in after making an appointment for work to be done on my 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Chuck was very good at listening to what I perceived as the concern for the appointment, and was very positive in ma on my 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Chuck was very good at listening to what I perceived as the concern for the appointment, and was very positive in making me feel comfortable that it would and could be resolved in a positive manner. When I arrived I was greeted and the process for resolving my issue was instituted. My vehicle was repaired, and I was informed of any changes that needed to be made that I had not been informed of before due to it not being found until it was worked on. I appreciated the professionalism that was conducted during my visit and the quality of work performed. I was also given an estimate of the cost after it was discovered what the issue(s) was that needed to be corrected and asked what I wanted to do. It was nice to be asked for input and not having any surprises as to what the cost would be to me. That is the reason I continue to repeat as a customer from 28 miles away, and why I have them do all of my service work on my vehicle. A trust relationship, I feel, has been established between us and their honesty with me has never been questioned by me. That is why I do business with them. I was very impressed with the way Jamie suggested options for my upcoming tire purchase and how to handle service issues my pickup will need in the near future as well.
