Jared didn't give me a Veteran discount Jared Wingard AT 5star ford in Carrollton (THAT’S THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN EVER BE 5 STAR IF THE HAVE IT IN THE COMPANY NAME). I went to buy a new tru Jared Wingard AT 5star ford in Carrollton (THAT’S THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN EVER BE 5 STAR IF THE HAVE IT IN THE COMPANY NAME). I went to buy a new truck on 7-6-2017 and Jared was my sales guy. Jared and I found a truck and Jared was working the numbers. Jared told me he pulled the truck up in front and wanted me to look at it. I went outside to look at it and it was a 150 not a 250, a crew cab and an extended cab. I look at it immediately and told Jared that’s not the truck and Jared responded really. ( SHADY SALEMANS PART 1 ) I said no it isn’t. Then Jared said ok and made me wait for another 2 hours and finally found my truck. Jared came back with the numbers and I was going to go to Navy Federal for my loan and Jared asked me to finance it through ford. I told Jared no. Jared went to his sales director and Jared came back and asked if I would finance it through ford then refinance it with Navy Federal (SHADY SALESMAN PART2). I said no, Navy Federal was the only bank to help me and I was very loyal to Navy Federal. Jared went back to his sales director and came back with the bill of sale and said we can’t give you your Veteran’s discount (SHADY SALESMAN PART 3). I looked at him like ummmm ok, Jared said that is wasn’t his fault HIS SALES DIRECTOR is strict about it. I was like ok, I’ll be back in about 2 hours with a check and Jared said he was sorry about not giving me my Veterans discount. I left and decide to go to Auto Nation Ford in Frisco and told Wallyed what happened and showed them the bill of sale and Wallyed gave me a better deal and said that Guy Jared was shady because he wanted to make a bonus with me for using Ford financing and decide not to give me my Veteran discount so that Jared could get it, because I didn’t go through ford to financing and Jared wasn’t going to get a bonus so he took my discount for his bonus. As I was coming back from Navy Federal to get my truck from Auto Nation Jared texted me and said we can give you a $1000.00 discount all we would have to do is rewrite the contract for August 1st, 2017 (SHADY SALESMAN PART 4) I ask Jared why he wasn’t willing to help me when I was there before I went somewhere else, Jared’s response was because I wanted to make a sale. (SHADY SALESMAN PART 5) I told Jared you should have done that for me at 1st not when I decide to go somewhere else, and I sent Jared a Picture of the Check made out to Auto Nation Ford in Frisco and said he was too late. They worked on my schedule which was tough to do! I've purchased a lot of cars in my 55 years. This was easily the best buying experientxe I've ever encountered. I was looking to trade up to a Pl I've purchased a lot of cars in my 55 years. This was easily the best buying experientxe I've ever encountered. I was looking to trade up to a Platinum F150 but had recently taken on a new role at work and have been traveling constantly. I originally started working with RJ who is the GM. I told him I didn't have much time and that I was going out of the country in a few days. RJ promised that he would try and make the experience as simple as possible. While I was looking at a few different trucks, he evaluated my trade and offered me top dollar for my trade even before I had settled on a truck. Have never had that happen before. Originally thinking I wanted a 4x2, they didn't have one in the color and options I was looking for so I ended up leaving without buying and then went out of the country for a week. I didn't get back to the dealer for three weeks due to work even though Jared who was the salesman that RJ had me work with followed up a few times. When I finally got back to the dealer I had dwxided on a 4x4 which being in Texas gave me a lot more options. To my surprise they said right off that they would honor my trade value even though it had been three weeks and 800 miles. Jared worked with me to make sure I got the truck I was looking for and was very knowledgeable on all of the different trim options. I settled on a Platinum 4x4 in Pearl White and am very happy with the purchase and value. Jared has been outstanding on a couple of follow up issues and is just an easy guy to talk with. Really both him and RJ both were down to earth and no pressure. Even David in finance was low pressure. Again great buying experience and value. Thanks for the great service. More
