The Financial transaction paperwork went smoothly as the Finance Manager took the time to explain the process in dealing with my financial institution as needed to complete the purchase transaction, as well as explaining each section of the "add on" service/maintenance options available to us post acquisition. Made a terrible situation acceptable! I test drove a used vehicle about a week prior and took a few days to consider the vehicle. I called my salesperson, Jason Yoemanns several days late I test drove a used vehicle about a week prior and took a few days to consider the vehicle. I called my salesperson, Jason Yoemanns several days later and made a proposal to purchase the car and after a bit we agreed on the price. At 10 am on a Thursday i picked up the vehicle having moved through the process of trading in my old car and paying for my new (used) vehicle in abut 90 minutes. Awesome! I left the dealership and about 10 minutes into my drive the dash panel lights and instrumentation started blinking and the car lost all power. I was able to navigate into a parking lot. Can you imagine the sick feeling having just written a check for a car no longer under warranty of any kind? After trying to jump the vehicle to drive it back to Lexus with no success, my wife and I called Jason and explained. Without hesitation he was on his way with a battery and technician. The new battery got us rolling but we were all concerned so we drove back to the dealership and took the car to service. Ultimately the problem was a failed alternator. "It" happens I suppose. I was quietly hoping to pay cost, or parts with no labor or something - it was an As Is -Where Is purchase so Northside was not obligated to do anything. But, Jason returned saying that they would cover the entire cost and provide me a loaner until the repairs were complete. What a relief. This is why you buy a Lexus, from Lexus!! And Jason was calm and cool and helpful through out. I consider this experience above and beyond. Thank You Tony More
