We are and have been extremely disappointed in the service at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I had a problem with my lights. I called to make an appointment and they couldn't get me in for two weeks eve service at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I had a problem with my lights. I called to make an appointment and they couldn't get me in for two weeks even though this was a safety issue. When I finally brought my car in they never called me at the end of the first day to tell me I had to leave it, I had to call them at the end of the day only to find out they had to keep it another day. The second day I called and left a message three different times. When I finally got someone on the phone they told me the guy that took my car in had left for the day. I asked for the manager and was told he was not in either, it was 3:00. At that point I pushed to get an answer as to what the status of my car was. The service guy told me it had not been looked at yet and in addition the oil change hadn't been done either. I said, I needed my car and that I would pick it up that night. The next day I received a call from corporate to tell me that my car was being looked at as we spoke. I had called corporate the week before to tell them I had a safety issue with my car and that I couldn't get an appointment for two weeks. I said to the woman on the phone that wasn't possible as my car was sitting in my driveway. Then a few minutes later I received a call from the Service guy who took my car in asking "where is your car"? I said I had picked it up. At that point I explained to him that I had called three times, he said he never got a message being somewhat rude. I said that I had also been told that the car had not even been looked at. At this point he became even more abrasive and said "that's a lie". When I proceeded to tell him that I was extremely disappointed in the lack of SERVICE that I was receiving he proceeded to tell me "I am not here to argue with you"! At which time he hung up. At this point in time I actually bring my car to my own mechanic, even though I still have free oil changes and tire rotation as my car is a lease. I will never go to that service department again. More
