I am super happy with my new Rav4 Prime! After dealing with a dealership in Brooklyn, I found Toyota of Hackensack because not only did they have the car I wanted in stock, they also were not tagging on a with a dealership in Brooklyn, I found Toyota of Hackensack because not only did they have the car I wanted in stock, they also were not tagging on a surcharge like all of the dealerships in New York City and Long Island. We had a couple of snafus, but everyone worked to smooth things over so that I could drive off with my car. Miriam was awesome with all the communication and Jay was great. I appreciated Mary (on the phone) and Steve (finance guy) for their directness. More

I know Frank Holtham for nearly 30 years. He is the owner. I got a great deal on the 2021 Avalon Hybrid i bought and the management office gave me nearly what i wanted for my trade in. Our family has b owner. I got a great deal on the 2021 Avalon Hybrid i bought and the management office gave me nearly what i wanted for my trade in. Our family has bought 5 cars at Toyota of Hackensack over the years and they are great cars. I was very happy with the 2 camry's i bought since 2011 and 2018 and i really like my new Avalon. The staff is very nice and helpful if you have a problem with anything. Jay Rim the sales manager is very helpful and spends time with you on the phone and in person. More

I had to pay for my own gas on the test drive and was not reimbursed for it. Felt very rushed even when I called from out of state. Finance manager was also pushy and inconsiderate. Once I purchased the car, it was impossible to get a hold of anyone for days. The car had many problems with the panoramic roof that I am currently in lawsuit with Toyota over. Also a leak in the spare tire compartment. The car was an absolute lemon. All within a month of buying the car. The salesman was also rude after the fact because they refused to work with me on a permanent solution. Would never recommend this dealership to anyone. PLEASE STAY AWAY. More

On 03/20/21, I bought a 2016 Buick Encore VIN: KL4CJGSB8GB748750 from Toyota of Hackensack. On 03/22/21, I brought the car to a Buick service department in Queens for a Multi-Point Check / DT Eng KL4CJGSB8GB748750 from Toyota of Hackensack. On 03/22/21, I brought the car to a Buick service department in Queens for a Multi-Point Check / DT Engine Diagnostic Test. There were problems (e.g. crack on oil pan near drain plug; an after market drain plug (i.e., bolt) had been previously installed, throttle body service, coolant flush, engine air filter, lug nuts missing caps / cracked when new tires rotated, excessive rust around the wheels (as if car had been sitting in water). The oil light indicator was on at 35%. The Carfax did not accurately reflect the car history. After Buick service department's Multi-Point Check / Diagnostic Test, I immediately drove back to Toyota of Hackensack to unwind the deal. My original salesperson at Toyota, Melissa Louissant asked me if Toyota were to repair the problems would I still be interested in the car. I responded "no." I am forever grateful to the Buick service department in Queens. I was able to unwind the deal with Toyota of Hackensack, due to Buick's service technician's sharp eye to see the hairline crack in the oil pan & for noticing the missing & cracked lug nuts, excessive interior rust on the wheels well. Melissa Louissant was dismissive & unprofessional during the sale process; and much more so when I returned the car; as I sat in the chair making telephone calls to the bank to cancel checks of my downpayment and the insurance agent to void the insurance policy, Melissa had the audacity to come over to me and tell me "you can leave now." I kindly replied that I couldn't leave without something stating the deal had been cancelled. She stated there wasn't anything to give me that I had to wait for the VIN to be cancelled & to expect an email from finance. I insisted I couldn't leave without something. After conferring with finance, she asked for my documents, finance wrote "VOID" dated & signed the front page of all documents. This shows their lack of integrity. So relieved that I was able to unwind the deal! More
