Buyer Beware Unfortunately, I had to give 1 star because there wasn't an option for 0 stars. Let me start by saying, I had worked at a large auto dealer in NJ Unfortunately, I had to give 1 star because there wasn't an option for 0 stars. Let me start by saying, I had worked at a large auto dealer in NJ for about 4 years (left about 9 months ago to pursue a new career). The age old saying, you shop at the beginning of the month and buy at the end of the month holds true. A dealer is always looking to move metal off the lot and you can get your sweetest deal then. I had been shopping for a new vehicle, or in this case a 1 year old vehicle when I saw on Autotrader a 2015 Subaru WRX with 22,000 miles at "Prestige" Volvo. It was August 1, and knowing that a dealer will steal the 1st of the month and report sales for the previous month, I knew I might have a pretty good shot at getting a good deal on the vehicle, so I went down to view the car. Sales guy worked with me pretty well, and I got an okay value for my trade and was able to negotiate what I thought was a good value for the 2015 Subaru; this isn't where I had any problem. Upon taking the car (same day), I was a mile down the road when a light popped on the dash- I read the manual when I got home and it was a windshield washer fluid level light. I popped the hood, and it was bone dry; thought it to be pretty odd and knowing that, and have worked at a car dealer ALL USED vehicles still under factory warranty have to go through service. The service department of all wants to look at the vehicle to try and up-sell the sales team on prepping the vehicle whether it needs brakes, tires, windshield wipers, oil change, etc. or nothing at all because they will pack it into the price of the vehicle and pass it on to the consumer who in turn buys it. It's a win-win for the dealer... the service department gets paid and so does the sales department. So it got me thinking, if they didn't fill the washer fluid (which took an entire gallon jug of it when i bought it from autozone), did this vehicle go through the service inspection? I proceeding to check the oil... It was Black, I mean BLACK. I called the dealer and spoke to the sales person, and they said bring it in and we will service it. I asked them to produce the R/O (repair order) that was originally opened on the vehicle... they danced around the question and never produced it. Frustrated, I just had them change the oil and left. About 2 1/2 weeks later, I had a Certified Subaru Dealer look at the vehicle.... turns out the vehicle needed a brand new clutch.... Now i was upset, because I went back into my paperwork I signed at "prestige" Volvo I bought the vehicle from, and no where on the paperwork is there a mention about remaining factory warranty or any warranty from the selling dealer. (The Subaru Manufacture warranty is 3/36,000) Again, having worked at a dealer in the state of NJ, all vehicles in the state must be sold with a "buyer's guide" and MUST be signed by the purchasing party of the said vehicle which reflects the warranty on the vehicle being sold; whether it is an "as-is", "balance of factory", or warranty provided by the "dealer." This may have been naive by me not noticing the buyer's guide in my paperwork, but it is still the job of the finance department to produce it for you to sign when sitting down in the box with them... Needless to say, I attempted multiple times to contact the dealer General Manager, the sales person, or the service department at Prestige Volvo... I have hear nothing back since doing so. So my goal is to provide consumers like my self the awareness of Prestige' lack of... I guess you can say customer "serviceability?" Perhaps this will get their attention/response back to me as I post on GOOGLE, YELP, and every other social media platform... P.S. I hope this post was helpful for those looking at buying a vehicle from "prestige' Volvo. More

Above and beyond My XC60 stalled on Rte 80 on way home from work. Jay Rosen got call at 6:03 pm notifying that tow truck would be delivering çår to dealership. He stayed on till 7 pm (tow truck arrived) and secured a 2016 Volvo as a loaner during my repair. This was above and beyond the call of duty and greatly appreciated. Made it to work and ensured repair was done in timely manner and at a great price. Also Amel for going over the job order with me...made a stressful situation much easier. Made me feel like a valued customer.. More

Since the moment we phoned him about an iss Jay Rosen, Services Director of Prestige Volvo, provides the gold standard of excellent customer service. Since the moment we phoned him about an issue with our recently purchased certified pre-owned Volvo SUV to the moment we reviewed the services needed, he provided superior whiteglove services to ensure our concerns and safety were his #1 priority! He provided his cell phone for immediate access to provide timely status of repairs. There was a safety concern with the airbags not working due to a sunroof/water lighting issue. In my eyes, he help elevate the brand of Volvo in our eyes. While we've had experiences at other Volvo branches and even experiences at other major brands of BMW and Mercedes, never have I seen true PRESTIGE services implemented, as I experienced with Jay. I wished all services car experiences were like this. If you want an honest, reliable, top service, look no more. He knows how to get things done, with quality excellence. Excellence in Service I am in Prestige today for an oil change. I could go anywhere for an oil change. I came here to see the extraordinary employees who are now friends: I am in Prestige today for an oil change. I could go anywhere for an oil change. I came here to see the extraordinary employees who are now friends: Jay, Patricia, and Bob, and Andy. I know the oil change will be done right, with the correct oil, filter, and the correct instruction for my car to return at around 6-7k miles. Other oil change places want me to return in 3k miles. They just don't know my car. Patricia and Bob take personal care of me. Patricia and I share the same taste in music. Bob and I have sons in the military. They always make me feel when I leave that my Volvo is safe, and I know when to return for service. Patricia and Bob introduced me to Andy, the mechanic who answers technical questions for me. Andy puts his mechanical understanding in layman's terms so I walk away knowing my car. My husband and I trust Volvos because they are safe. We bought them for our teenage sons. Our boys have been in one major accident and another time drove through a flooded area that seriously damaged their car. In both cases, Jay personally worked with our insurance company and orchestrated complicated repairs with them. Two engines needed to be replaced, and in the flooded car, all of the interior fabric. I am completely convinced the weight, heft, and the safety of my S60 saved my boys lives on Route 280 when their car hit a drive shaft that was on the road from a garbage truck. We've bought one new car and two used cars from Prestige, and have used their service department for over five years now. They have answered my concerns with grace; Jay has even returned my after-hours call, out-of-state when a light came on my dash that I did not understand. He assured me the car was safe to drive seven hours home and he would see my car first thing the next day. We keep our Volvos for years. Both of our older cars have about 200k miles and we plan to take them to 300-350k alongside Jay, Bob, Patricia, and Andy. Eventually, we will replace them with Volvos from Prestige. More

The easiest car buying experience! Their patience in me testing several cars, answering all of my questions and the walk through of the vehicle after purchase was by far the BEST car buying experience my wife and I have had. This is my 7th Volvo at Prestige & the service/detail to attention continues to be top I traded in my 2015 Premier S60 for a loaded 2013 Platinum S60. This is my 7th Volvo at Prestige & the service/detail to attention continues to be top notch. The updated facility is beautiful as well. My former salesperson is no longer with Prestige so I worked with Deborah Amster who was recommended to me by Pat Masone the Finance Mgr who is very knowledgeable & helpful in many facets. He has always treated me fairly & makes the #'s work! Deb's hardworking approach, knowledge of the products, and accessibility are second to none. She has mastered the very difficult art of multitasking! Although my 2013 S60 was in great shape, everyone there made sure it was perfect! A special thanks to Jay Rosen & Patricia Sommerville for the extra efforts in getting my "new" car in perfect condition. I would enthusiastically recommend this dealership to all. You Can't Go Wrong with Prestige Volvo I purchased my 2013 XC60 about a month ago. PJ was the person I initially met and took my test drive with. He was patient in helping me find the car I purchased my 2013 XC60 about a month ago. PJ was the person I initially met and took my test drive with. He was patient in helping me find the car that would be a great fit for my family and me. Never once, did I feel like an unimportant client, just because I was buying a used car. I met Tina a few days later when I picked up the car. Tina made sure to go over all of the car's features with me, and answered any questions I may have had. She was great. I met with Pat Masone when it was time to close the deal. Once again, I was impressed with the time he took to go over last minute financing and insurance questions. He is very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me decide what made better sense for my type of car purchase. Although my car stalled after one day of being in my possession. I was able to reach PJ and he made sure that it was taken care of immediately. He apologized profusely and the way I see it is that once in a while unexpected things happen. Their service department took care of the situation and returned it to me by the next day. PJ and the service guys were amazing. I truly feel that at Prestige Volvo not only do they value business but also the lasting impression they leave on their customers. More
