A/C System replaced. I'm giving my experience at Sands Chevy service dept. a 5 star rating due to the hassle free, smooth, and probably most important in customer service I'm giving my experience at Sands Chevy service dept. a 5 star rating due to the hassle free, smooth, and probably most important in customer service these days, 'friendly & caring' process from start to finish. I brought my Tahoe in for a regular oil change service and 'estimate' on replacing my complete a/c system due to recent failure of the compressor. I was skeptical at first, this being a 'dealership' and all the negative experiences you hear about these days. Jean Jajou was the service rep that helped me and I have to say, this lady is one of the best service advisors I've ever worked with. She reminded me of the regularly scheduled maintenance that my vehicle was due for and the fact that living in Arizona makes it more critical to have it done on time etc. Making perfect sense, she gave me options to choose from. She said she'd also have the technicians check the a/c system and give an estimate on repairs or replacement if needed. Needing my car for at least a day, maybe longer, she provided a loaner car for the time and that process was equally as hassle free and smooth, thank you to 'Heather' helping with that! Jean called me later in the day to give me the diagnosis on the a/c system, and as expected, it needed to be replaced. She gave me a VERY competitive estimate as I had two other estimates from local repair shops. Sands was not the cheapest, or the most expensive, but they were hands down, the BEST 'value' for the money. The part they used were the best quality, best warrantied, and being a Chevy repair facility, I'm sure the technicians were the best choice to do the work. So, overall, I feel I received the 'best' value for the money I spent! More

Great Service Sands did a transmission fluid exchange, nitrogen tire service and wash on my vehicle all in just 65 minutes from when I hit the service drive. So al Sands did a transmission fluid exchange, nitrogen tire service and wash on my vehicle all in just 65 minutes from when I hit the service drive. So all of that work was done in under 1 hour! The cost for the work was very good and all of the staff very friendly. More

Oil Change and compass issue I had an appt for an oil change and tire rotation. That went just fine. Also, the compass was not working and they looked at that but were unable to I had an appt for an oil change and tire rotation. That went just fine. That took awhile, but despite the delay, the service was good. More

This time I was talked into changing my transmission fluid. I have 11000+ miles on a 2 year old car. I understand transmission fluid should last til 60000 miles! I know it's preventative maintenance but I'm tired of paying 375 to 500 when I am serviced for an oil change and filter. I will now go to jiffy lube where they will also check out everything. I will use the dealer when I need something on warranty or I'm told I need to. More
