Awesome Sales Assistance We had an unusual family situation and were looking for help in making a selection that best fit our needs on a short turnaround decision basis. Afte We had an unusual family situation and were looking for help in making a selection that best fit our needs on a short turnaround decision basis. After using Edmunds.com to research numerous vehicles in different categories, we narrowed our search to your dealership based upon the inventory but especially after a friend recommended that this particular Ford dealer was the place to help with our situation! We were not disappointed from our first contact on throughout the process - returning after some serious deliberation on different vehicles for different family members. Thank you so much for your patience in helping us make such a difficult decision for now - we will be back for another vehicle soon, for our other family member!!! The quality of your vehicles and the helpful and friendly staff made our decision so much easier given our circumstances. Thank you, thank you, thank you! More

Good relationships only go as far as a $20 item The salesperson I worked with, Jess Smith, did a great job. I came in looking for a truck I found online - and even though I was at the wrong location, she took the time to run me up to the other place. Once I realized the vehicle was not what I was looking for, Jess took the initiative to find what I WAS interested in. She was very responsive and accessible during the negotiations, and we got the deal done at the price I wanted to pay. The used car manager was a pretty nice guy and spoke of wanting to "build relationships and create a customer for life." I gladly bought the vehicle, a nicely used F-150, and I was quite pleased until about 2 weeks later. I noticed a small plastic molding at the end of the running board was loose. This was not damaged by me, so I went back to 5-Star to ask if they would fix it, or at least give me the part at no charge. Upon Jess's request for this (on my behalf), they refused. Stating that the part was not covered -- and that it had been "a few weeks since I bought it... A FEW WEEKS! This part is a $22 item. And though the vehicle was used, it was both Certified Pre-Owned, and still had original warranty time and miles remaining. PLUS, I purchased extended coverage, While I was very pleased with the deal I got on the truck, I would have thought they would have extended a little extra consideration to fix this tiny flaw. This makes me wonder what the warranty DOES cover, if not a small bit of plastic. To be fair, they did knock $4 bucks off the price of the molding, and I guess it's okay that I'll need to do the fix myself. But I'm sorry, I'm just confused why they would profess to wanting to create a long-term customer relationship and then turn their back on me over a $20 item. Unfortunate - and puzzling. This should not be considered a reflection of the effort Jess Smith provided in helping me find the right vehicle. And I certainly hope it was not a call made by the manager I met and worked with. Sure, this is a small thing - but small things can be important when you're spending thousands of dollars on a vehicle. ***Addendum: After posting this review, (not sure if it had any influence, but...) I was contacted by the Dennis the manager and he told me I was not supposed to have been charged for the part. I can certainly understand how miscommunications can happen. This significantly restores my confidence in Sam Pack's 5-Star Carrollton dealership. And I've adjusted my ratings accordingly. Of course, I'm hoping "miscommunications" like this do not occur more often in the future. :) More

Quick, relaxed, honest experience. I have little time for purchasing a vehicle, so my effort began with internet research. I found the truck that I wanted on 5-Stars website, and soon I have little time for purchasing a vehicle, so my effort began with internet research. I found the truck that I wanted on 5-Stars website, and soon went to the dealership and introduced to Jess. She quickly found the truck; brought it up front for a quick test drive, and I decided to purchase it. Jess guided me professionally, and quickly through the rest of the buying experience, and I was soon on to "life," in my new truck. The experience was very positive starting with the internet to driving off the lot. Thanks, Shannon More

Patient Sales person that listens Jess was extremely patient and listened to my daughter to what her needs were for her first car. She showed her several different models to make sure Jess was extremely patient and listened to my daughter to what her needs were for her first car. She showed her several different models to make sure she was completely satisfied with the new car. Since they did not have the exact color she wanted, Jess found it elsewhere and had it ready to go for her the next day at the dealership. I would highly recommend Jess if you are wanting your car buying experience to be with someone who really listens to what you are looking for and going that extra mile to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your actual purchase.
