Dishonest Sales and Poor Customer Service I recently purchased a 2018 Accord EX from Honda of Kenosha, while the car is fantastic the experience was awful. I used True Car to find the vehicle I recently purchased a 2018 Accord EX from Honda of Kenosha, while the car is fantastic the experience was awful. I used True Car to find the vehicle and understand approximately what I'd pay, this was explained to the sales person (Leo) who let me know that it was a phenomenal deal and went on to explain some of the perks "included" with this purchase. These perks were NOT included in the cost of the car, each had an additional fee - Auto Butler (which I mentioned I'd never use as I don't live in the same state as the dealership) $1,000, extended bumper to bumper warranty $2,000, Color Pros $4,000. When discussing my monthly payments with Leo using a calculator to show that something wasn't adding up I was told that I must be factoring in the interest wrong and that "there's no we we're up-charging you that much, but finance can break it down for you." When I sat down with Jesus from finance we looked at the line by line breakdown which showed these charges I asked to have them removed but I was told there was "no revisiting" and that I was essentially stuck. Later that evening I spoke with my brother in-law, who works at a car dealership, he advised I request the warranties be canceled as that's a fairly standard process. I reached out Melissa Koerber, Customer Service Manager, who put me in touch with Corey, the dealer's General Manager. Corey was responsive via email but required me to come to the dealership to discuss the cancellation. I took a half day and made the trek from Chicago to Kenosha only to be told that there's nothing they can do outside of canceling the only useful warranty, the bumper to bumper - if that's the case why not mention that via email and save me the trip and a half days time? Additionally Jesus mentioned the dealership doesn't actually honor True Car pricing and that they advertise their cars online at prices far less than they're willing them for to get people in the door - very dishonest. After an hour of arguing the dealer agreed to reduce the cost of the Auto Butler (that I'll never use) but they can't do anything for the $4,000 Color Pros. Net Net - Don't trust these guys! I didn't ask for any of these warranties nor were they properly explained by sales, I was charged $7,000 more than I should have been, and was basically told to hit the bricks when I brought these issues to the dealer. More

Worst customer service ever. No promises kept ! I dealt with Joe , finance manager. And a dishonest sales person. They would not refund my car care coverage, Even with the cancellation notice. Jesus Marti is the new finance manager. I flew from Austin Texas to Kenosha to discuss my problem. He reassured me they would call back. I have never heard from him again. They will not return my calls. NEVER BUY A CAR HERE. More

Just simply put: WOW. Walking in, I knew this was where I was going to buy my vehicles, it felt like home. Everyone was super friendly and I could tell they genuinely cared and wanted to see me get what I wanted. I was upside down in my current car loan and needed to trade it in for a new vehicle for myself and another for my daughter. I did some research online so I had a general idea of what I was hoping for. I already had visited every other major dealer in town and was terribly disappointed not only at those dealers’ lack of concern for my needs, but their obvious excitement as they fed me exorbitant numbers on mediocre vehicles. My first impression of Honda of Kenosha was that everyone clearly was proud of what they were doing and were confident in their product. I was just leaving their parking lot to test drive a white Accord and looked over to my daughter, smiled, and said, “this is the one honey”. We returned and after crunching some numbers and a little negotiating, I signed for my new car. Everyone I had spoken to throughout the transaction was kind, encouraging, positive and engaging. It truly felt like family. I went home and wondered if it was all too good to be true and after sleeping on it a few nights, I texted my salesman and asked him to get everything set for me to pick up my daughter’s new car that afternoon. Sure enough, I walked in after work, Jesus handed me the keys and the manual and said that Joe would be with me shortly to set up terms. I walked in, signed, and off we went with our second purchase. It has been a month now and I am just as confident and satisfied with these vehicles as I was when I bought them. The quality is obvious, the safety features are amazing, the prices are so economical, the gas savings is nearly paying for the second vehicle, and I continue to tell everyone I know what an awesome experience I had at Honda of Kenosha. They’re a game changer for buying cars and in 9 months, I’ll be contacting Jesus for my second daughter to get her first vehicle as well. More

Excellent sales experience Roberto was extremely helpful and accommodating. very Happy with Jesus sales Lead very professional my rating was based on my sales lead Jesus. the fiance officer was very rude refused to shake my hand when i went in to sign the paper work, I told h my rating was based on my sales lead Jesus. the fiance officer was very rude refused to shake my hand when i went in to sign the paper work, I told him up front not to run another credit check I was already approved through my credit union but he ran one. Also there was a difference of over $500.00 dollars on the purchase agreement that what we were told and had signed a paper for the agreed amount. which is a lot of difference to me being on a fixed income i am retired and my husband retired.I dont know if he treats all customers that way or just the ones that dont do there finaceing through Honda I will highly recommend Jesus to any one but not the finance officer i had to deal with very rude even when I returned with the check the very next morning for the full amount . More
