Most positive car purchase experience ever! My husband and I had the fortunate experience of working with Nealy Anderson over the last few weeks as we prepared for the purchase of our new 2019 A My husband and I had the fortunate experience of working with Nealy Anderson over the last few weeks as we prepared for the purchase of our new 2019 Ascent Touring. Nealy was so organized and positive, the whole experience was extremely pleasant and smooth. Sean in Financing and Trace, our delivery specialist, were also wonderful. We have used Grand Subaru to service our 2008 Tribeca for years and the Service depaartment is also excellent. Car buying and servicing can be a real headache and cause a feeling of dread, but the team at Grand Subaru has completely shifted that perception for my husband me! They are friendly, relaxed, and completely transparent. I never felt pressured or like I was being tricked into purchasing something I did not want or need. I highly recommend them to anyone who might be “shopping” dealers or brands! (By the way, I’ve been driving my Ascent for a week now and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! Best decision ever!) More

Wild ride and worth the trip My 2002 Audi TT was done. I did a lot of research- I wanted - AWD - Turbo -Manual Transmission -a unique appearance. I selected the Subaru My 2002 Audi TT was done. I did a lot of research- I wanted - AWD - Turbo -Manual Transmission -a unique appearance. I selected the Subaru 2017 WRX in Rally blue as the answer to everything I wanted. After making the rounds of all of the dealers in Chicagoland (yes we call it that), I set out to contact my best option at Grand Subaru. I had previous contact with Melissa Distell on line who set me up with Nealy Anderson. I showed up unannounced on a Friday morning and linked up with Nealy. From our first meeting I knew I wanted to work with this woman. She listened to what I wanted and did not interject a lot of up-selling to get me into a different car. The decision was so easy working with Nealy. I put down my deposit and hoped to pick up my brand new vehicle the next day. At 5PM Nealy called- I knew something was wrong. They had found a factory defect in my brand new transmission and were going to have to replace it. Understand- Nealy had set me up with the only 2017 WRX Limited in Chicago that had everything I wanted, and priced it at a substantial reduction under MSRP. We hoped to get the fix done within a week. I was OK with that. Monday Nealy called me and told me my brand new tranny had to come in from Japan.....argh! We talked- she worked with me- we wanted to make this work. My Tranny was now 10 days out- the Audi was dying and Nealy kept working with me. Subaru America understood I was sticking with the deal and made a substantial free warranty upgrade that really made up for my inconvenience. Long story short- Nealy was with me through this whole experience and I am now driving my Bad Ass Blue Angel and smiling from ear to ear. I cannot say enough good things about everyone I dealt with at Grand Subaru and Subaru USA. I look forward to my next purchase with Grand Subaru. I just wish I could give Nealy more than 5 stars. More

Grand service Hands down the best service in town, I've been in Subaru for over 20 years and once I found Joe and Grand Subaru I haven't gone anywhere else. Joes a Hands down the best service in town, I've been in Subaru for over 20 years and once I found Joe and Grand Subaru I haven't gone anywhere else. Joes a straight shooter and a pleasure to work with, maybe it's just me but honest service doesn't always seem to common in the auto repair business, which is not the case at Grand and with Joe. It's another reason I've stayed in Subaru. The whole series team is great from John on down, but when I found Joe at grand I had no need to look elsewhere. More

"Amazing Mike" Go to Grand Subaru and Mike's your man! My daughter had been saving for years for a car. She finally decided this past summer that she was ready to Go to Grand Subaru and Mike's your man! My daughter had been saving for years for a car. She finally decided this past summer that she was ready to purchase a modestly priced used car. She had some clear ideas of what she wanted so we spent most of the summer looking for just the right fit. We primarily relied on one dealer whom we'd purchased from before for my son and had had an outstanding experience. We were really reluctant to go anywhere else since we'd heard horror stories about buying used cars and didn't want to take the chance of sending my daughter off to college with a problem car. Less than a week before she needed to head out to college, we were still waiting so we decided to look at other dealer options. We ended up seeing a used 2007 Subaru Forrester online that was available from Grand Subaru. We called and had the great fortune to get Mike Sinacola to help us. We immediately drove to Bensenville from Chicago in rush hour just hours before the dealership closed. Mike had the car washed and sitting in the front waiting for us to test drive by the time we pulled into the dealership. They allowed us to test drive the car without someone hovering over us and to take as much time as we needed to look the car over and talk and ask questions. My daughter was thrilled and we purchased the car. Mike was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He stayed late on a weekend night, past regular business hours to make sure we were completely checked out, set and satisfied with our purchase. Al in the finance department was also terrific. We purchased an extended warranty and he even gave us his personal cell phone to call him if we ever had any trouble getting the warranty coverage. Grand Subaru even allowed us to take it to an independent mechanic to have it checked out and guaranteed to fix any problems for free should our mechanic find something non cosmetic wrong. Our mechanic said the car looked and drove like new. But this isn't the most incredible part of the story. Two days later and only three days before she had to drive 1500 miles to school the car stopped dead in traffic. After calling AAA for a tow I called Mike on his cell which was right at closing and he helped me arrange to get the car looked at in the morning with their mechanics. Joe in service called me in the morning and had found the problem (a bent gas gage in the tank so the tank was not registering empty). We had scheduled the car to be rustproofed that day but unfortunately Joe needed to have the part overnighted to the shop and it wouldn't be ready until the next day which was the day of our departure. Joe promised to have the car done right away when the part came in so I arranged to have the car rustproofed the next morning by noon. By the way, Joe was very accommodating and was a huge advocate for pushing this through and making it happen in a timely and efficient manner. The next day the part came in late and we were told if the car wasn't there by 1pm we wouldn't be able to have it rustproofed until two days later. We had an hour drive to the dealership and were waiting to hear from Joe about the completion and we were running out of time. Just minutes before the deadline, in steps amazing Mike who offers to drive the car to the rustproofing shop so we could get in there on time. We saved many hours in traffic, got the car done and my daughter made it to college on time. I know it sounds like a fairy tale but it's really true and Mike and his team were the reason. It's unheard of to get customer service like this in today's market and Mike should be given the medal of honor for service above and beyond. More

Got a response within minutes by salesman Mark Hoen. Called Mark back on our way to the dealership, he had the car we were interested in parked in the first spot right by their front door waiting for us to test drive. He also pulled 2 other cars in front that my husband was interested in. No pressure took our time went for a test drive came back and made the deal. No hassle. Mark explained everything filled out the paperwork and it was on. Seen Al in finance was exceptional, explained everything answered all our questions. Exceptional customer service. Introduced us to Joe in service, meet and greet was very nice. All made the day so easy. Would recommend and buy a car from this dealership in a heartbeat. Hopefully the service dept is as good as the rest of the employees. More
