From the moment I first interacted with Covert Cadillac and Joe J III, specifically, I've had a terrific buying experience. I sought quotes for a few vehicles I had been watching online and while I may no and Joe J III, specifically, I've had a terrific buying experience. I sought quotes for a few vehicles I had been watching online and while I may not have obtained the precise model I was after, I was guided to a model and trim that would make for fine alternatives. I went for a test drive of two vehicles: Cadillac ATS 2.0 Turbo Performance and a 3.6L V6 Performance. The first test drive is a testament to just how committed they were to making me feel comfortable. As a first time (American) luxury buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect. The test drive was on a highway. As we were going through the paces talking about features and functions of the car, another car got onto the highway. Suddenly something fell off its chassis, hitting the highway only to bounce off and hurl our way!! It hit the car I was test driving, no amount of following distance could have helped on a busy day. It was shocking to see the damage to the car when we concluded our test drive. The whole front driver's side light assembly was shattered and the worst thing to come out of Joe's mouth was, "well, I guess I won't be selling you this car!" Feeling terrible, I was kind of shocked I was asked if I wanted to try out the 3.6L. We went for a short drive and boy could I appreciate the difference in having the always-on power as compared to the spin-up of the turbo. There were only two Black Diamond (ext)/ Morello Red (int) in the lot and I'm glad the V6 was the one I test drove last. I took home a vehicle that is exciting, comfortable and freaking sexy to drive. I should also note that I also went in with financing secured. Joe asked for an opportunity to match/beat what I had. I figured it couldn't hurt to see what they had to offer. He sent me off to lunch and upon my return presented me with a few options - no pressure at all. Every member of the Covert team was courteous and friendly throughout the entire process and I have to say I feel great with the purchase I made. It is precisely the experience one of my best friend's described to me (his family buys all of their Cadillacs through Covert). More

I have never had a more pleasant experience in purchasing a new car. Joe Joseph is a very personable, nice, funny and sincere man who at no time ever put "pressure" on me to make the purchase. Joe Joseph and everyone else I met at the Covert dealership were friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Joe knew everything there was to know about the CTS coupe. The trade-in allowance was extremely fair, and once the deal was made, everyone went to work to complete the transaction as quickly as possible. I've made many car deals in my life; this was the best experience ever. As for the quality of the car, my wife said it best after she drove it for the first time---"wow, don't ever sell this car!" My wife took her 2004 CTS in for service, but the dollar amount for the repairs needed was more than we were planning to spend on a 9 year old car. So, we decided to purchase a new Cadillac ATS for her. She worked with Joe Joseph III as the sales person. Joe was very receptive to her needs and wishes. He listened to her! This is most unusual compared with other car sales reps with whom we have dealt at other dealerships over the past 30+ years. Joe was able to arrange a good deal on the ATS. The day after she purchased her car, she needed to return the second set of keys to the 2004 CTS, and I went with her. Knowing that I would have to replace my car within the next year, I decided to discuss a deal on an XTS for myself. I really had no plans of purchasing the second vehicle immediately, but I was extremely pleased with the way Joe listened to my needs and his overall mannerisms. I decided to have him work up a deal for the second car. The same day we received an email from Joe with what I thought was a good deal on the XTS. So, a couple of days later, we went back to the dealership and purchased the XTS. I had no more than arrived back home when my phone ran and Joe said the dealership had just received notice that all 2013 XTS sold that day were eligible for another $3,000 in bonus cash and asked me to return to the dealership and sign new paper. The deal had already been signed and I had taken possession of the XTS, so I was stunned and quite pleased that Joe called with an even better deal than the one to which I had already agreed. From my experiences with most other dealers and dealership, I doubt any of them would have gone the extra mile to get me a better deal, and to do so much to please a customer. I must say quite honestly that I have never had a better experience purchasing a car. I have no plans to purchase another vehicle for several years, but I sincerely hope that Joe will still be at Covert when I am ready for another car. Finally, I must say that Clay Thomas was also one of the most cordial and helpful finance people with whom I have dealt. The experience of purchasing two vehicles in the span of 4 days is new to me, and quite daunting. Joe and Clay and the other Covert team members made the experience very easy and much less stressful than other dealerships could have. Thanks for a great experience and keep up the good work. Our experience with Joe Joseph and Covert Cadillac was terrific. Joe got us the best price on a new SRX and our trade, better than any dealership from San Antonio and Austin. My wife Mary and I leased an auto from Covert Cadillac of Austin this past week. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. He was very friendly, helpful and guided us through the process smoothly. Overall, the experience was stress-free and met our needs to acquire an exceptional vehicle to drive for the next 39 months. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Joseph and Covert Cadillac to my friends and relatives. BTW- this the 4th vehicle we have acquired for the Covert group of dealerships in the past 20 years. I was about to buy a vehicle at another dealership, when I ran across a car on Covert Cadillac's website at a fantastic price. I e-mailed them for more information and Joe Joseph responded almost immediately. We talked on the phone and I was at the dealership the next day. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by him and I knew this was the place for me. Joe Joseph in one word, amazing! He was very helpful and funny. I was able to get the car quickly and I am very happy with it thanks to Joe, the sales manager, Mike Ginther, and the finance manager, Riley Stevens. My wife and I stopped by Covert Cadillac to just look at a used 2011 SRX we saw online. We were greeted by Joe Joseph, but he did not come across as the pushy typical car salesman rushing to meet you at th a used 2011 SRX we saw online. We were greeted by Joe Joseph, but he did not come across as the pushy typical car salesman rushing to meet you at the front door before the other salesman do type. He was very laid back, professional, and interested in helping us. We had no intentions of buying a car that day. I asked to see the SRX we had seen online, and he immediately obliged. Not being a native Texan the 45 degree temperature was just fine by me, but my wife having never lived north of Williamson County was not tolerating the cold so much, so Joe asked if she wanted to go back inside to warm up and then brought the vehicle up to the front door of the dealership. Joe admitted he was still fine tuning his knowledge of auto sales and this is where he earned my business. A salesman who admits he doesnt know the answer is hard to come by. A salesman who admits he doenst have all the answers, but isnt afraid to put in the work to find those answers is even more rare. Joe did both. He never slowed down, he wanted my business and I told him what was important to my wife and I and he never dismissed those priorities. Joe constantly kept us informed of what step was next and made this car buying experience the most pleasant and quickest I ever had. From the time we walked in, to the time we walked out, having traded our 2010 Chevy Equinox and driving away a certified pre-owned 2011 Cadillac SRX was 3 hours!! We even got lunch during that time! I have bought many cars in my life, new and used, and even a couple from Kenny Covert at the Hippoplex in Hutto, Texas. I cant remember the sales manager's name or the gentleman who worked in finance who handled our paperwork, but they were very helpful as well. As long as Joe is an employee of Covert Cadillac, our business will always be there and I will tell everyone I know looking for a new or used car to go see Joe Joseph at Covert. Thanks again!
