Weak troubleshooting, backs up lies from the sales team. My vehicle has had problems since I purchased it with 245 miles on it. Over 10 repairs. Out of service well for over 40 days. Yet the service manag My vehicle has had problems since I purchased it with 245 miles on it. Over 10 repairs. Out of service well for over 40 days. Yet the service manager and team believes it appropriate and fair that I have a car that I have to bring in nearly every month for problems that keep occurring. The service manager promised a call from the general manager of the dealership to discuss the situation. The guy has not called since February, nor since a month ago since a profuse promise from the service manager. They tried to also sell me a "new" Pacifica minivan, which someone backed into a hillside and messed up the bumper, which wouldn't start when they went to show it to me. I didn't really want a minivan. I wouldn't buy a donut from them. Further, in November, I discovered something..... I have proof that I was lied to in course of the sale. On email from the guy that sold it to me, verbally from their team in person, service manager previously denied any other RO's that suggested window breakage..... Then, one of the OTHER finance dudes unwittingly provided me proof, a repair order, on paper. I called them on it! The response? We can basically lie about it because it's excluded in Alabama fraud law. That tells me a LOT about how Hendrick does business! Bad business! [Forcibly removed sentence was here - They didn't like me pointing out Hendrick's history in 1997 - It didn't breach terms at all though.] Hendrick's behavior has told me to never purchase a Hendrick vehicle nor a Chrysler vehicle again. I could have been a long-time customer, fleet purchases included. I STILL have glass in my hand from the floorboard at the purchase of my vehicle, which my doctor couldn't get out, which has been bubbling up in small pieces!!! This is the glass that SUPPOSEDLY wasn't from the window glass - which... actually was per the repair order I managed to obtain - which was concealed, and supposedly did not exist!!! I will be trading this lemon in elsewhere, soon as I get the ability to pay this down a bit. The ONLY reason I'll ever be at Hendrick is the oil change program which was hard-sold to me, or the extended warranty bumper to bumper contract sold to me.... assuming they don't lie their way out of it. More

We talked about what my price point was and what I felt comfortable spending on a vehicle. Very accommodating to work with my needs and what I was looking for. He brought me a 2015 chevy malibu, we took it for a test drive, I really liked it but still wanted to look a little. After looking I went with the malibu. I love it. I drove to work smiling the whole time. Considering everything that was going on things moved in a well timely manner. The car was detailed and I did paperwork/computer with Chris, he was set up very well and was a speedy process. Great overall experience, thanks for everything. Will be back and pass on to others. More

2018 Chrysler Pacifica Our family grew out of our car this year and we needed to upgrade to a mini-van. Upon visiting Hendrick, we were just planning on looking around, but Our family grew out of our car this year and we needed to upgrade to a mini-van. Upon visiting Hendrick, we were just planning on looking around, but we ended up owners of a gently used mini-van. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. Not pushy. They took time to answer all of our questions and walk us through all the details of the Chrysler Pacifica. Being that is was a low mileage pre-owned we were able to get a great deal too. They appraised our car on the spot and we were able to get a good trade-in value for the car, so that helped us in moving forward with the purchase of our mini-van. Also, since we were only planning on “looking” my car wasn’t prepared to be traded in (as in it still had car seats and other junk in it). So, Garrett, who sold us our van, drove the mini-van to our home and picked up our old car later that day. He got the van detailed and looking great for drop off. If you are considering getting a car/truck/SUV, please consider Hendrick. More

Fine purchasing experience, terrible otherwise I’ve purchased two brand new Grand Cherokees from this dealership- a 2015 Laredo and a 2018 Limited. First experience with the 2015 was good and I had I’ve purchased two brand new Grand Cherokees from this dealership- a 2015 Laredo and a 2018 Limited. First experience with the 2015 was good and I had no issues with the vehicle. Second experience has been a nightmare so far. Shortly after signing the paperwork and leaving with the vehicle, it began having issues. I dropped the car off for a week... no one in the service department even looked at the issue. The service advisor also didn’t understand the basic features of the vehicle, so was much less able to speak to what may be causing the actual issue. After them having the car for 5 weeks and the issue still not resolved, it’s apparent they’re only concerned with the initial sale and not maintaining the customer relationship. The finance director had no interest in really helping to make the situation better. His solution is to leave my car and solely at my own inconvenience/cost... they have no loaner program. Even more insulting, he then goes on to say I should have purchased a service agreement if I expected alternate transportation while my vehicle with 500 miles is in the shop for an obvious manufacturer’s defect. The service department is wildly unorganized and really struggles with the basics. Each time I’d pickup or drop off my vehicle, it would take at least an hour or two... even when the vehicl was allegedly ready I regret purchasing this car and I especially regret purchasing from Hendrick. Despite this being my second car purchased from this dealership, I would absolutely not recommend Hendrick to anyone. More

Worth the 2 hour drive Traded in a 2016 Jeep Cherokee for a 2018 Grand Cherokee. Our salesman was Michael Carter and I was thoroughly pleased with our experience with him. M Traded in a 2016 Jeep Cherokee for a 2018 Grand Cherokee. Our salesman was Michael Carter and I was thoroughly pleased with our experience with him. Michael has a sales background but was fairly new to car sales. You couldn't tell he was new because he had good product knowledge. Joel the sales manager understood our concerns with trade in value and exceeded our expectation. We live in Huntsville but drove past 2 other Jeep dealers in order to work with this dealership in Hoover. I recommend working with this dealership. More

Dealer switched to a car that was $6000 less after signed. After looking for a truck for nearly 4 hours (going from lot to overstock lot and back) and getting the run around on our trade in (offered $3000 more After looking for a truck for nearly 4 hours (going from lot to overstock lot and back) and getting the run around on our trade in (offered $3000 more after they hassled with the price) ; we finally had them come back to us with the deal we needed and the truck we wanted. We got an offer on paper for the new one including our trade. We sat in an office and filled out the first round of paperwork and we thought we might finally might get out of the dealership with the car we wanted. Then, in classic car dealer fashion, the manager came into the office and told us they gave us the quote on the wrong truck and the one we wanted was more than $6,000 than they quoted us. Now after being at the dealership for 7.5 hours, we were told we could drive the cheaper truck home and keep it overnight and decide on it. We went back the next day and were told that they were in the wrong and that they had numbers to meet and needed to move those trucks to meet these goals. After showing us two more trucks, which one couldn’t even fit our daughters car seat, we were told that they had a deal on the original one that we first agreed too. It was $30 more a month (on a longer financing option than what we were comfortable with) than what we were quoted and was their best deal. Through the whole thing we’ve learned that we should be careful on what they first offer you (and sign on an agreement) because they will pull that vehicle out from beneath you and replace it with a cheaper version with the thought that you’ll take that cheaper option. Really disappointed that this took about 8.5-9 hours and we didn’t walk away with the truck. More
