The Cortese group of franchise firms are top notch. The dealer principal is an honorable businessman, and the managers and staff members we have worked with have all been top notch over the past 15 years. We previously purchased some late model SUVs from them. More recently we were able to acquire a 2020 Shelby GT500, quite a feat considering how few are being built and sold. It qualifies as a lifetime achievement for me... The transaction for the Shelby was as smooth as it could have been hoped for. No fuss, no muss. A clean, straight up deal with no misery or grief. The Shelby was ready for delivery at the time promised, and has proven to be a really tremendous machine. I look forward to bring more business to these fine folks as the need arises. Darren is great service is always good. I have had great service at the Cortese Ford store. On the other hand my wife recently had a very bad experience at Cortese Jeep. We left the car la I have had great service at the Cortese Ford store. On the other hand my wife recently had a very bad experience at Cortese Jeep. We left the car late the previous night for an oil change and air in a tire. The next day at noon my wife checked on the status of the service. Nick the service advisor indicated that because we did not have an appointment he wasn’t sure when he would get to service her car. She had indicated she needed it by 2 pm in order to pick up our grandchildren. She told him not to bother to work on the car. and she picked it up and took it to Monroe Muffler. The work was done there in 20 minutes. We have been going to Cortese for service on this car since she purchased it in 2011. We were very disappointed because we have been using Cortese for service for 20+ years. Tim Young the previous service provider was wonderful, needless to say we will not return to Cortese Jeep. I can't believe you want me to write a review The car I bought from Cortese was unreliable. Within the first two weeks of ownership, I had to have it towed to the dealership three times because it The car I bought from Cortese was unreliable. Within the first two weeks of ownership, I had to have it towed to the dealership three times because it would not start. Rather than work with me, Cortese argued that there was nothing wrong with it, even though I had multiple witnesses, including my elderly parents who were stranded with me on the first occasion. Cortese could have been decent and allowed me to return the vehicle, as is consistent with the New York State lemon law, but refused to work with me. With great difficulty I was able to get Cortese to take their car back. Any time anyone asks my advice on where to buy a car in the Rochester NY area, I tell them, "Anywhere but Cortese. " Too bad I can't give zero stars. More
