The one thing that made this buying trip great was working with our salesman John Ostlund. He had a really straight-forward approach and just went right into a great offer that we took. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lived up to all his promises. I looked at same model at another local dealership and had a very poor experience with that dealership. While I will say that the overall environment was typical of car dealerships I have experienced, John Osterlund is not your typical salesman. He exceeds my expectations and does a great job avoiding the car salesman stereotype. More

John Ostlund was my salesperson. He was honest and did not pressure me too much, to purchase. He placed my new car under roof, as I had requested, because my new car was staying with the dealer overnight not pressure me too much, to purchase. He placed my new car under roof, as I had requested, because my new car was staying with the dealer overnight when we had tornadoes and hail. I appreciated this very much. He also took my home address out of the navigation on a demo car I drove when I could not figure out how to delete it. My only disappointment was in the trade in value for my used Subaru. I had looked at its value on two different sites and requestest a few hundred dollars less than the sites recommended. Mr.Dean would not honor those and offered my $500.00 less. I took it. I believe that if I would have held my ground, I could have prevailed. I did use a program called ZAG to price my new car and that price was honored. It took the haggle out (almost) of car buying, which I really despise. I am happy with my new car. It has 50 miles on it. More

They gave me the price I wanted for my trade in and for the new vehicle I wanted. John Ostlund was my sales guy and he was great. Being new to Volkswagen, he went over the vehicle, the company and answered all my questions. It felt like a conversation you would have with a friend and everything about my experience was better than I had expected. Dean team was supposed to close at 9pm and I don't think I left until just before 10:30pm, with no one rushing to get me processed or ever complaining about being there late. This dealer is truly there for its customers and I could not have asked for a better new car purchasing experience. I recommend this dealer to anyone and I will go back there when I am ready for a new car. More

My experience with Dean Team was great. The salesmen were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They also were honest and if they didn't know something specific they looked it up instead were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They weren't pushy at all and were very patient with my three visits there to make up my mind. They located the exact new car I wanted and we agreed on a very fair price without a lot of back and forth or haggling. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. More

This is our second purchase from Dean Team and we'd recommend John to anyone whose looking for a Forester. John is the type of salesman who gets the job done and if he doesn't know the answer he'll tr recommend John to anyone whose looking for a Forester. More, importantly, the service team is who you see on an ongoing basis and Dean Team's service team is the best. When we decided to get a new Forester I called Kevin and asked for a recommendation for a salesman and hel told me to see John. We couldn't be happier. Dean;s name says it all...TEAM. Teamwork is how they operate and they work well together to get whatever it is the customer wants or needs! Yes, we'll get our next Forester from them as well and contact John when the time comes.
