I called Coast BMW to schedule an oil change… instead, I had the pleasure of speaking with the Sales Manager, Jose. He was funny, professional and made me smile on what was the end of a long, hard few days. had the pleasure of speaking with the Sales Manager, Jose. He was funny, professional and made me smile on what was the end of a long, hard few days. He easily made me feel welcome and treated me like a friend. I picked up reinforcements, April Marie Alley and headed to BMW. When I arrived, I was overtaken with admiration by what I saw. They were serving meals to anyone who desired. The service bay was filled with smiling faces enjoying more than a meal. They were enjoying each other and their friends who worked there. I was already impressed. I wanted to shout from the rooftops how wonderful and emotional I felt by what Coast BMW was doing. To make a long story short, never before had I browsed a BMW dealership. I not only traded in my problematic Cooper but I met some extraordinary people there. My salesman, Luke, their Finance Manager, Kirk, Detail Manager, Roger and of course, Jose. These BMW professionals are unsurpassed in their fields of expertise. They were professional, friendly, kind, honest and possess the highest of integrity. They made me feel like family. I’ll never buy a car from anyone else. More

I highly recommend BMW of SLO to anyone looking for a used vehicle. I bought my "previously enjoyed" Ram 1500 from them and the service was professional, efficient and best of all the staff were not push used vehicle. I bought my "previously enjoyed" Ram 1500 from them and the service was professional, efficient and best of all the staff were not pushy. Finance was the easiest I have ever had and the rate excellent. The staff went over and above to show their appreciate for my business. Over my 34 years of owning vehicles I have had the opportunity to purchase numerous vehicles both luxury and work horses but can honestly say that I have never had as pleasant experience as this. Everyone worked as a team to make the sale happen and the entire process was seamless and easy. 10 out of 10 to the entire team. More

Buying a car is no fun and unfortunately, this incident proved it. Started out great by reading some good reviews. Had a few hours before the Niners NFC championship game (painful loss) so I called on an M proved it. Started out great by reading some good reviews. Had a few hours before the Niners NFC championship game (painful loss) so I called on an M6 at BMW of SLO. Worked really well with Mitch, super responsive with pics and videos. Did ample research as the car did have some flaws; 3 bad tires, record damage on CARFAX, etc... but everything else seemed ok so I was willing to negotiate a purchase. Mitch passed me along to his Finance Mgr. and that's when it soured. Proceeded to tell Jose my findings and told him that I would make an offer to see if the offer would be good for both parties. Before I could finish, Jose Interrupted me to say that the price was firm and that it was priced appropriately when compared to the current listing and implied that the price I saw is the price I had to pay in order to get the car. I politely disagreed with him but accepted the fact that it was non-negotiable and stated that I also didn't want to buy in a car bubble. Amazingly enough, he stupidly didn't know what a car bubble was and proceeded to educate me that the price of everything is inflated so as to rationalize his firm and non-negotiable position. I guess that's the industry's environment right now with chip shortage, low supply, and high demand, allowing for brazen car dealer attitudes. It actually took me by surprise as most reviews were good about this dealer. That on me and my naivety. Oh, a few days later, the price of the same car dropped. So much for their non-negotiable position. They felt compelled to use the numbers l888 in their pricing. Wonder why? Coincidence that it's Chinese New Year! BTW- I'm also that person that a snotty salesperson mistreats only to find out later that I've owned many highend BMW, Mercedes, and now a Maserati! Don't let this review keep u from working with Mitch. Just don't be as naive as I was. More

I would like to sincerely thank Kevin, Jose, and the whole team at BMW of San Luis Obispo for the amazing experience with the purchase of my first BMW. I have purchased a few cars from other dealers, bu whole team at BMW of San Luis Obispo for the amazing experience with the purchase of my first BMW. I have purchased a few cars from other dealers, but I have never had such a personalized and special treatment like that of BMW of San Luis Obispo. Kevin is awesome and took the time to go over all the amazing features of my X3 and made sure that I didn't leave the dealership until I was familiar with all its functions. I am so glad that I took the drive out to BMW of San Luis Obispo and grateful to Kevin for making the experience one that I will always remember. More
