This was a very traditional car dealership experience. I thought the condescending treatment of the decision maker down the hall, with the salesmen walking back and forth for an answer to any of my reque I thought the condescending treatment of the decision maker down the hall, with the salesmen walking back and forth for an answer to any of my requests had gone away with the CD player. The salesmen, Joe, was a decent, honest guy caught in the middle. Eventually, I did decide to purchase the car, but almost walked out before signing because the interest rate they guaranteed me was suddenly a point higher (2.9 to 3.9% from Monday 4/14 to Wed 4/16). The Finance manager's response was "Mazda did that to us, they never raise rates mid month." Fortunately, he walked out to the "decision maker" down the hall, who actually came back with him and told me they will honor the rate negotiated (2.9%), but I had to back date the contract (and pay for two days of owning a car retroactively) .It was a reasonable compromise, but I was ready to ask for my plates back (on my trade-in) and call it all off. The car is wonderful so far. If you want an old-fashioned car buying experience, then Werner is your place. More

I absolutely love the car and the precertified owner program. I prefer to by a car that is at least a year or two old. The special program gave me a lot of reassurance. My only complaint is that there was not much to bargain on the price. I enjoy a good haggle. My spouse does not so he liked it. More

Everyone I've interacted with have been friendly and comfortable to talk to, seemed genuinely interested in making sure I had a great experience. This is especially true because I didn't want to buy a vehicle but my SUV was beyond reasonable repair and I was grumpy about having to purchase a new vehicle (lol). We went to 7 dealerships in two days trying to find a replacement vehicle that fit my specs at a price I was comfortable with. Werner was the first dealership we visited and they set the bar high. From the moment I entered the dealership, I felt the laid back and efficient vibe. From my salesperson, Joe, to the management team - Nick and Rich, there was zero pressure, yet they made it known they wanted to earn my business. They all listened to what I wanted, addressed my concerns and gave me the information I needed to make my car buying decision. They even told me what I probably didn't need (that's rare). There are clear reasons they were the first and last dealership we visited to buy our new vehicle - a CX-90. Thanks for a great experience Werner Mazda!! More
