That’s not the level of communication or service we want any of our guests to receive. Buying a new vehicle should be an exciting process, and we’d like the opportunity to restore your confidence in us. After reviewing your concerns with our sales and finance team, we found that your replacement window is scheduled for installation on Tuesday, November 11, and tinting will be completed the same day. For your convenience, our staff will pick up and return your RAV4 to your wife’s workplace once everything is complete. We sincerely apologize for the lack of updates during that process. Regarding your payment and financing experience — most debit cards are restricted by daily spending limits, which makes them difficult to use for large purchases. To help our customers avoid unnecessary card fees, we typically absorb the first $3,000 as a courtesy and offer alternative payment options. With your credit application already on file, and since we were able to improve your interest rate by 0.5% compared to your bank, it created the impression that you intended to finalize financing through us. We’re sorry for any confusion that caused and will work to clarify those options earlier in the process for future guests. When you met with our finance manager, Toyota’s factory warranties and extended coverage options were reviewed in detail. Your mother also visited the next day, and after reviewing those same coverage levels, you both chose to keep the additional plan — which remains fully refundable if you decide to cancel it. It’s important to note that once a loan is finalized, any refund is sent to the lender and applied to the principal balance, which shortens the overall loan term rather than lowering the monthly payment. We value your business and appreciate your family’s long history of servicing with us. We take these concerns very seriously — especially when there’s been a misunderstanding — and we’re committed to making sure your RAV4 is repaired and returned promptly. Thank you very much for the timely response to the window situation and the tint. As for the card. I told Josh and Micheal that I’ve already called my bank and they approved the $14,000 down deposit with no fees. But they both insist that I would still have to pay the 3%. I did not want to finance though you guys and told them both that I had a check already for the exact amount that I was scheduled to pay, note the 5/5 stars on the sales price transparency. I was already financed through my local bank for $53 less a month on my payment a month. We decided to keep the warranties because it wasn’t going to lower my monthly payment. Thanks
