I had initially contacted Steve within the past week after stopping by to lo Today I purchased a new 2016 Ford F-150 from Steve Lower at Sunset Ford. I had initially contacted Steve within the past week after stopping by to look at new trucks. I found a white F-150 with a front bench seat that was close to my needs after looking over the lot and was greeted by Steve when I walked in the door. Steve was friendly and professional. He looked over my selected vehicle, talked about it features and contrasted it with my original 1998 Ram 1500 4WD in terms of towing. He also talked through the features of the new truck. After we had talked a bit, he took the information on the truck I had seen on the lot to the manager and came back with a very good offer. I told him I was still doing my research and would be getting back with him. A day after my visit, Steve sent me an email thanking me for my visit, offering to answer any further questions I had, and telling me about Sunset Ford's Owner Advantage program. I also got an email that day from the Sales Manager, Larry Sidberry, thanking me for my interest in a Sunset Ford product and asking if they met my expectations for service. Two day ago, I got an email for the General Manager, Pete Heutel, also asking about the quality of the service I received from Sunset Ford. I replied to both managers letting them know I was happy with my interactions to date. I replied to Steve thanking him for his help and asking about vehicles in gray tones (silver or magnetic). I also asked him about a 6.5 foot bed on the super crew trucks. Steve initially replied telling me the 6.5 foot beds were limited and then called back a two days ago telling me he had three trucks (white, silver, and black) that met all of my needs: Super crew cab, 302A package, 3.5L ecoboost engine, and a 6.5 foot bed. I scheduled a visit for today and took a test drive of the silver F-150. My wife and I loved the ride and the room. The truck bed was perfect for the size I wanted to haul things. The tow package would take care of towing either an ATV trailer or a camper. We decided the silver F-150 was just what we wanted, so we returned after the test drive and told Steve we wanted to buy the truck and trade in my '98 dodge. The process went smoothly, with the financing being worked out within about half an hour by Justin Lombard. Within about an hour and a half after walking into Sunset Ford today, I drove out in a new truck that is exactly what we wanted at a price that was more than fair. Kudos to the staff at Sunset Ford and special thanks to Steve Lower. More

Sunset did it again! Saturday 4-15-16 my wife Amy dropped our Hyundai off for an oil change at Sunset Ford off Gravois in St. Louis. She saw Cory Pupillo, the salesman th Saturday 4-15-16 my wife Amy dropped our Hyundai off for an oil change at Sunset Ford off Gravois in St. Louis. She saw Cory Pupillo, the salesman that sold us a new 2013 Escape 4-13 which we traded in 2 years later 4-15 for a used 2013 Explorer. Out of the blue she asked Cory to let her test drive a new F-150 while the Hyundai was getting the Works (BTW we really like their service team). Well, when Amy got home I was in the back yard doing some yard work and really busy. Amy said she brought a truck home from Sunset for a test drive. My immediate response was, to put it mildly, "heck no we are not buying a new truck". I checked that new truck out and told Amy I'll test drive it but we are not buying! Well once we got back to Sunset to pick up the Hyundai after the oil change I spoke with Cory. I said "why did you give my wife this particular truck to test drive?". It wasn't right, I really, really like the truck. BTW my wife was paying for the oil change while I was talking with Cory. I shot him a price where I would be happy with trade-in and all. Cory said "we can get real close to my number because they are running incentives this month on new trucks, let me see what we can do". Amy came back from service and said "what's up, you ready to go?" Cory came back just then with a price so close to what I was willing to pay I said "now you have my attention Cory". Amy was like really are you serious LOL. Well to make a long story short we bought the truck at a great price and I am so happy with it now. I used to have a 2008 F-150 which we traded in for the Escape 3 years ago and sort of regretted ever doing that. Cory Pupillo is a great salesman, Justin Lombard in finance is great to work with as is Larry Sidberry. I talked with Larry and he says "this is your 3rd vehicle you bought from Cory". I said "yeah and we only came in for an oil change on the Hyundai" Larry thought I was kidding. I told Larry I wouldn't have gotten the oil changed in the Hyundai if we were planning on trading it in, we just laughed. Lastly we were in and out with a new truck in 2 hours so the sales and finance teams are awesome. Service is always great and so is their body shop (they really know their stuff). Called and asked they hold the car for us to examine until we got there. We arrived the next day as agreed. The car was well prepped as the site said, very clean car, and in very nice condition. The warranty given is great, the people were all very nice to deal with. Over all a pleasant experience to buy the car. If you drive 3 hours or so in one direction, it has to be worth the trip. I ended up getting a good deal for I never enjoy car shopping or the games they like to play, however, this transaction was fairly straight forward. I ended up getting a good deal for my trade in, which made the whole deal good in my view. I really love the vehicle I got, and will keep it for a long time. Keith was professional and even though there was a mistake made, he was able to get the deal done. I certainly felt he had my best interest at heart in the deal. Justin was great with financing getting the deal done that day and working to make sure I got the same deal from them that I would have gotten from my own credit union. This saved me a couple of extra trips to the dealership and a few to my own credit union. More
