Misleading Mohawk Honda is listed on the KBB website as a dealership that buys autos and will give you an "instant cash offer" if you are trying to sell your veh Mohawk Honda is listed on the KBB website as a dealership that buys autos and will give you an "instant cash offer" if you are trying to sell your vehicle. I received a cash offer from this dealership and was contacted by Rick to set up an appointment for them to evaluate the car..... told me to bring the title, etc. The night before my scheduled appointment, Rick called to apologize and explain that the sales manager had lowered the offer for my vehicle by $2000 and that the quote I received originally was for a trade in, even though I clearly stated to Rick that I was not interested in a trade. So, not only was the original cash offer several thousand less than the KBB value of my car, they decided to low ball the price even more right before I was scheduled to come in. I appreciate that Rick called me to warn me, but I now feel that I could never trust this sales team to give me a fair deal, which is unfortunate because I drive by there everyday and was considering doing business with them when I was ready to purchase. I had a beautiful car to sell that could have made them money but they low balled the price before even seeing it. Lesson learned......don't trust what this sales team tells you.
