Working overtime to get the deal done We just had a unique experience purchasing our Honda CR-V at Wilde East Town Honda. My 2006 Mercury Mariner had the transmission blow up so we were i We just had a unique experience purchasing our Honda CR-V at Wilde East Town Honda. My 2006 Mercury Mariner had the transmission blow up so we were in need of a vehicle. Normally, I would take up to a month to buy a new car. I didn't have the luxury of doing that. So knowing we only had a short time to shop I scribbled a few notes on a pad and went car shopping. But I also called my daughter to get her opinion. She said she would head to the eastside of Madison. Glad we did. We first test drove a Rav4, nice vehicle but I wanted to see what a Honda CR-V felt like. We pulled into Wilde and Mikel greeted us. We told him what we were looking for and he steered us to the spot on the lot to look. After a 10 minute walk around the CR-V's we asked if we could test drive one of them. As I said I'm not an impulse buyer but as soon as we got out of the lot I knew this was the car for me. But it was 6:30 at night so I figured we come back to look some more on Wednesday. But to my surprise both Mikel and Karen were willing to make the deal with us that night, staying overtime for us. They were both very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. I picked up the car, with its accessories installed, and am thrilled. It's fun to drive and the buying experience was so easy. This is our second Accord purchase from Wilde East Towne (4th in total from Wilde dealers), and I would recommend them to everyone. Good experience all around. More
