Exceptional Service! One of the many great things about servicing your auto at Gates is simply knowing without question that "everything" from start to finish is done with One of the many great things about servicing your auto at Gates is simply knowing without question that "everything" from start to finish is done with the customer in mind. It is the only dealership that I can send my wife to with her car and know without question that she will be treated fairly and professionally. The Service Manager Bill Case is a man of integrity and character. It is one thing to sell someone a car. It is quite another to Service and maintain it. Managed to limp in on a failing transmission after 178,000 miles on our 2007 Murano, dealt with the service team, got the straight scoop, spoke with the sales team and ultimately drove out that evening with a 2016 Murano. We were treated with the utmost courtesy and received a very fair deal. Some places might have taken advantage of our situation as we had left SC and Hurricane Matthew behind that morning and still had 5 1/2 hours to drive to home. The Gates Team treated us really well and we were back on the road is reasonably short order. We only wish they were closer so we could come back for all our service needs. More

That approach is followed by sales manager, Scott Witt, salesman Ronnie Leet, and financing manager Frank Jones. Each went out of their way to assist and give sound advice. I would recommend Gates Nissan to anyone. I would also add that the service department is very professional and has likewise always gone above and beyond to provide the best service. More

2015 Nissan Frontier purchased I purchased a 2015 Nissan Frontier and asked them to install the hitch, have it full of gas when they delivered it and make sure the license plate was I purchased a 2015 Nissan Frontier and asked them to install the hitch, have it full of gas when they delivered it and make sure the license plate was registered in the county I live. The only thing I received was a $50 gas card from BP. They assured me that all of this would be done and it wasn't. More

Great Experience Buying 2015 Nissan Altima at Gates Nissan! Admittedly, I am the most annoying customer of all time...I'm very indecisive, I ask tons of questions, and I take way too long to make up my mind. E Admittedly, I am the most annoying customer of all time...I'm very indecisive, I ask tons of questions, and I take way too long to make up my mind. Even so, the staff at Gates Nissan couldn't have been easier to work with when I showed up to purchase a new car. My sales guy, Pete Popichak, let me test drive 3 different vehicles, all while answering every question known to man that I could come up with...Ali Ennakoa worked up the pricing on all 3 vehicles for me to review...Scott Witt explained the ins and outs of Nissan's rebates and promotional financing...Nick Simmons stayed late to write up my paperwork after I finally made up my mind, even though his family was waiting to leave to go on vacation...and Bill Case and Kathy Smith addressed my service questions and concerns after my sale was complete. This is my second Nissan Altima; I drove my last one for 10 years and 200K miles...so it looks like the staff at Gates Nissan has another 10 years to deal with me. HA HA! A rare gem of dealerships in a competitive business I have dealt with several dealerships over the years and I don't hesitate to say Gates Nissan, all things considered, is the best. We have a 2001 Alt I have dealt with several dealerships over the years and I don't hesitate to say Gates Nissan, all things considered, is the best. We have a 2001 Altima and a 2008 Xterra. Both have been very reliable but occasionally small things come up. I do a lot of research when a hiccup happens with one of our automobiles. On multiple occasions I have dealt with Kathy and Bill in the service dept. On more than one occasion when I felt there was a serious problem Kathy and/or Bill have had the vehicle checked out and it turned out the problem was minor and easily fixed. I have been dealing with their service dept. for years and they are honest and will discuss in depth the issues that need dealing with and how best to solve them. Minor issues don't magically turn into major repairs. If you think the brakes or belts need replaced they have no problem telling you that doesn't need dealt with right now, you can get several thousand miles on your brakes and quote the thickness and data to back it up. Absolutely competent and honest service dept. My elderly mother-in-law purchased a vehicle from Gates and she was dealt with respectfully. I didn't know she was in the market for another car and when she told me what she wanted to buy and the price Gates Nissan quoted her I did the research and she was given a very fair price. Let your elderly mother, father, friend go into a dealership alone and see if they aren't sized up for a payment or taken advantage of in some way or another - not so at this dealership. Nick (General Manager I think) never fails to greet me when I come in for service and seems genuinely glad to see me. Very personable and professional. So - my wife and I decided we wanted to purchase another car. Based on years of positive experience with Gates we wanted to be loyal and give them a shot at earning our business. Now, I'm not so loyal that I will leave money on the table on a deal. I worked with salesman Gary Collins and was trying to decide between a Maxima and an Altima. I'm thorough and I wore him out with questions - didn't have one he couldn't answer. I also told him the other vehicles we were considering and without bashing the other dealers and/or vehicles he made a very strong, positive case why he felt the Nissan was superior and would best meet our needs. I even peppered him with emails with questions and I would get up the next morning with my coffee, log on, and discover he replied to my emails after midnight (time/date stamp). That is going the extra mile. We semi-decided on the Maxima so I had my wife take a test drive with Gary so she could ask the questions that were important to her without me...uh...hovering so to speak. She also was appreciative about how she was treated and how knowledgeable Gary was. Jamie (business or finance manager) also went above and beyond when we decided on the Maxima. He made several calls to Nissan to ensure we were getting the best finance rate, etc. Finally, I know this is a long endorsement but very well deserved. I won't spend a hundred dollars without doing my homework. I guess I'm getting old and cranky and I like to hold on to the money I have. I'm a little tired of spending thousands of dollars for a product/service and being treated like the seller is doing me a favor. Well, you won't get that at Gates Nissan. Shop there with confidence and know you will be treated right. If you give them a chance to earn your business or use their service dept. I think you will be pleasantly surprised that they "get it" when so many other businesses don't these days. More

Three Incredible Purchases I have purchased three vehicles now from Gates Nissan. All of the folks there are tremendous fun to deal with. This is not the typical 4 hour back and I have purchased three vehicles now from Gates Nissan. All of the folks there are tremendous fun to deal with. This is not the typical 4 hour back and forth boclerimg type dealership. I have experienced nothing but great service, friendly people, and excellent Nissan vehicles. I have become friends with a few of these folks and truly love them. Nissan is an excellent brand and the folks at Gates do exactly what they promise! More
