I returned to Lexus of Sarasota and Jeff Serensky after not being able to purchase from him in the spring. While I was able to get what I thought was a fair pricing (based on an offer to purchase at a dif not being able to purchase from him in the spring. While I was able to get what I thought was a fair pricing (based on an offer to purchase at a different Lexus dealership), I was surprised by the additional coverage packages that I was presented with that greatly altered my bottom line to get my car. While I reviewed all the options meticulously when I got home and read each piece, it was disconcerting at first to have one number in my head and a much larger one as my total owed. I had three LoS employees answer all my questions two days later and review each item I questioned. I chose to keep all but one of those options on further evaluation, but after over 4 hours in the showroom, I had obligations to leave that pushed me to sign without being totally comfortable with what I was signing for. Our salesman Django, should give lessons on how to be a successful salesman.. He was knowledgeable and willing to provide information. He wasn’t pushy, or disrespectful or arrogant. Every single person was polite and offered to be of assistance. Other salespeople with whom we had no dealings with were polite and greeted us every time they walked by. My husband went and met the service and parts department counter people who bent over backwards to provide choices for his questions. Sitting with the finance person and meeting a customer advisor made dealing with Sarasota Lexus an experience of buying this amazing Lexus a pleasurable experience. More

He connected me with the amazing Jaden Shelburne to understand the technology of the vehicle. He never lost patience and maintained a very positive and helpful manner with me. My experience with finance was initially thought to be positive; however, Eric, I believe, tried to mislead me regarding the maintenance program. This may indeed be a good program but misleading me about the cost of some services left me with a bad image of the experience. I may reconsider the purchase of this program when my two included services are completed. Kelly McKallister, in guest relations, very respectfully and non-defensively responded to my experiences and thoughts associated and made every effort to make things right for me which I very much appreciate. James Deal in service also made every effort to make my experience leaving my new vehicle to have tinting of the windows completed. He had a loaner vehicle ready to go and when i went to pick up my new car, had it washed and parked for me ready to take home. I realize that no experience at a dealership will be perfect, however, Lexus of Sarasota is a work in progress with the construction and hopefully will be a far improved dealership and service provider for our community.
