I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunications-journalism. For many years I was a news reporter, producer, and anchor. I started out in college on radio working for both NPR and CBS News. After college, I made the switch to television working for both ABC and NBC, where I was part of a team that won numerous awards, including an Emmy. My next job brought me to Tucson, but I was feeling uneasy in journalism, and after a break, I decided to try my hand at car sales. I've been doing it ever since. It's fun, and I enjoy meeting all sorts of people and seeing all sorts of cool cars. I hope to meet you soon!

Tucson Subaru is the Best. I'm ecstatic with my new Subaru! Kevin Gribble was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my decision making process. He listened to what I needed and found a car that was perfect for me: all the right features, and none that I did not want. After I purchased, I met Traci to go over options, etc. She was an absolute riot to be around, and I mean that in a good way:) She was knowledgeable about options, which ones would be right for me, which would not, and all the while treated me like family. The final part about this dealership that I noticed is that they really are dog-friendly: there was a bowl of water and biscuits in the lobby for the fur babies:) Love you guys! More

Pain-Free New Car Experience I loved my experience at Tucson Subaru, that ultimately led to my leasing a 2019 Crosstrek the same afternoon! My visit was preceded by a call the pr I loved my experience at Tucson Subaru, that ultimately led to my leasing a 2019 Crosstrek the same afternoon! My visit was preceded by a call the previous day from Kevin Gribble, the internet sales representative to confirm the appointment that I had made online. Since this was my 5th dealer experience in 3 days, that instantly made an impression on me of the level of customer service I might expect from Tucson Subaru. Kevin's call to me was 1 of only 2 calls to follow up my internet inquiry, and the ONLY one made by the person who would be my sales person. Arriving at the dealership, I was greeted instantly, in fact, the door was opened by one of the other sales people on staff that day. (actually, one of about 1/2 a dozen instances that day and the next where that happened!) While I did need to wait a few minutes for Kevin to finish up something else he was doing to help another customer, in the interim, Alicia at the front reception area was engaging and offered me coffee or water. When Kevin connected with me, he was instantly personable and "non-salesy". He took me right to the Crosstrek he had in mind for me based on our phone call. I was impressed with my test drive but not yet sold. After chatting with me about what I was truly looking for in a vehicle, Kevin did a radical thing. He suggested I drive the new Forester Sport because of the fun styling cues and the HUGE sunroof. (having a sunroof is one of my non-negotiable items!) Talk about confusing! But in a good way! What I did know after my 2nd test drive of a Subaru that day is that I was sold on the brand AND the dealership. I honestly went into the office confused about WHICH Subaru, however. Kevin didn't pressure me, just let me chew on it while my existing vehicle got assessed for its trade-in value. During that time, I was able to decide on all the features that were really important to me, and Googled the differences between the Crosstrek and the Forester. Words like "favored by singles","cooler", "sporty", "nimble" (applied to the Crosstrek) brought me over to the Crosstrek side firmly. So did the availability of Sunshine Orange. I ultimately decided keyless entry/push button start, a rocking stereo, an 8" touchscreen/navigation, and cool orange stitching were important to me, so the Crosstrek Limited with Option Package #23 gave me EVERYTHING I wanted. So I didn't go to Tucson Subaru expecting to drive away in a new vehicle. Truly. I had left 4 other dealerships with some hope, but no decisions. I figured the same would hold true here. It didn't. That being said, I hadn't arranged my day accordingly. I was cutting into my need to have a protein shake between meals. Kevin suggested I go hit Whole Foods and during that time he got my lease approved. I then expressed that my dogs usually got dinner around 6:30 pm and he assured me he would have my car ready for me as close to that time as possible (this was at 5:00 pm!) Based on previous experiences, I was doubtful. Sure enough, around 6:40 pm, he introduced me to my freshly-washed new Subaru, gave me an overview/question & answer time, and let me leave based on my level of comfort in doing so. A few other notes about my experience: 1. Other than the final financial stuff, Kevin handled me personally the entire time. No handing me off to other sales people or managers. At one dealership, I got handed off to another sales person AND a sales manager ended up doing all the talking. At another dealership, not only did I wait 10 minutes in an empty showroom with no one greeting me (despite an appointment!) I only got greeted when I started walking to an ADJOINING dealership, and even then, I never did meet the sales person I had an appointment with. 2. My experience in the business office was exceptional! Jennifer Duran was proficient, no-pressure about those "at closing" add ons that every dealership offers (the ones here really make sense, for instance, ding repair coverage.), and she returned my call the following morning when I left a voice mail question the evening before. 3. I love coffee, and really appreciated the French Roast available fresh brewed!!! Bonus points to Subaru for providing cups that can be recycled as well as the CLEARLY MARKED receptacles to do so. In short, Tucson Subaru has won me over. 300 miles into my new adventure (and first car wash complete!) with my Crosstrek, I couldn't be happier! More
