I had several awful experiences with Island Toyota, and will never be returning. It started out with Kris, the sales manager in 2019. He lied to my face, and claimed he could not offer a better deal on a will never be returning. It started out with Kris, the sales manager in 2019. Later the same day, I found the same car with an identical VIN for sale for $1200 less than Kris' "best deal" on Island Toyota's website. I returned to the dealership with the quote Chris had handed me the day before, with his handwriting on it, and a printout of the website offer, and asked him about why he had offered me such a high price as compared to their website. Kris claimed he had never met me before, 24 hours after sitting down with me and my wife, and having a conversation in their showroom. I presented to him the piece of paper he had given me, the day before, and he asked me "where did you get that?" Just breathtakingly amazing lack of awareness and honesty on Kris' part. Then, when I actually purchased a car from them, they took the floormats out and delivered my new car to me with no mats. Maybe to save a few bucks? Next, over the course of two years, I have attempted to get my car serviced at Island Toyota 4 times. Over the course of those appointments, Island Toyota has wasted many hours of my time. This place simply never respected my schedule, or the fact that I was taking time off of work to get my car serviced. In my estimation, appointment times don't mean anything to the service department, and I have been told by three different employees, including the service manager, that "we are always overbooked," and "everybody waits." It all culminated with their VP and service manager trying to lure me back as a customer, only to completely fail to meet a reasonable expectation that my car be fixed at my appointment time. Their service manager got angry because I told him I was disappointed that I had to wait 40 minutes for my scheduled appointment after they swore they would do everything to try to make things right. Just remarkable incompetence. Just stay away from this place. Terrible business, terrible customer service, and terrible lack of professionalism. More

Don’t believe 5000 no worries warranty. Dealership will not return my calls and corporate will not recognize warranty it is only through dealer. Whole thing is a lie. Now I have some secondary leasing comp not return my calls and corporate will not recognize warranty it is only through dealer. Whole thing is a lie. So i just want to start with the fact that im very upset with Hyundai service. They made my experience with there Tuscan xxxx. Over charged me and everything. But i guess GOD wanted me too have a better day cause , i as soon as i seen chris he was so full of energy and very nice and patient ,plus he was very professional. He was knowledgeable and made I am extremely pleased with the sales service I received at Island Toyota. My Salesman, Al McKie is a real gentlemen. He was knowledgeable and made me a very fair deal; a deal too good to pass up. The Manager, Kris was also very instrumental in closing the deal. This is my 5th Toyota I have owned because of the peace of mind you get with the purchase or lease of a Toyota. I would recommend Island Toyota to my friends and Family and I would say that you are fortunate to employ such an outstanding salesman and gentlemen ; Al McKie. More

Trying to buy a car I've been interested in buying a 2017 Toyota 4runner since I'm a Toyota fanatic and I really enjoy Toyota products. I have called this dealership mul I've been interested in buying a 2017 Toyota 4runner since I'm a Toyota fanatic and I really enjoy Toyota products. I have called this dealership multiple times a day for the past 4 day since I live in Richmond, Virginia, and I found the listing online. I was negotiating with them and agreeing on a deal before I make the long trip up there. I called them back the next day and it's the same story and I get no help. I have talked to associates and the sales manager and all they say is, "I'll get back to you," which never happened. I was eager and excited to make a deal with them, but they clearly are not interested. I was disappointed with the result of my experience and the time I wasted dealing with such an unprofessional dealership. More
