I'm happy to say I like my new car, however, the actual buying process was really stressful and uncomfortable. We had already agreed on a price, but when I was ready to pay, I noticed several damages to t buying process was really stressful and uncomfortable. We had already agreed on a price, but when I was ready to pay, I noticed several damages to the car that we had never spoken about. The emblem was broken, the bumper was dented and broken with a slit in it and needed a new paint job because the paint was ripped off, and it needed a brand new battery. When I tried to negotiate a lower price to account for those repairs, the sales manager became unwilling to discuss it further. I felt completely ganged up on because two salesmen and two receptionists were just standing there crowding around me in the room and staring during my discussion with the sales manager. Being there felt so hostile and intimidating that I ended up walking out because I was so upset. When I later tried to call to handle the negotiation over the phone to avoid that intense environment, the sales manager immaturely refused to speak with me and just passed me off to someone else. On top of that, I experienced some pretty uncomfortable microaggressions. I am a native-born Columbus local and a child of immigrants. One of the staff members randomly told me my English was "really good," and when I said I’m literally from here, they kept digging and asking where my "background" was from. It felt irrelevant and pretty disrespectful. I chose this car for myself and am glad I got it, but the customer service here made me feel belittled and isolated. I just wanted to be honest about my experience so the team knows how that behavior actually impacts customers. More

I bought a 2008 CRV from Liam he was great! I had a problem with the manager Kiel I left out of there without a 45-day tag I had bought my own plates to have them transferred never got done sti I had a problem with the manager Kiel I left out of there without a 45-day tag I had bought my own plates to have them transferred never got done still don't understand why he didn't put 45 day tags on the CRV before I left I had to put my old license plates from a different car on the CRV. I probably won't ever go back to buyer's Mazda again and will not recommend. More

I had a very good experience at Byers Mazda! The sales associate Ray Snapp, was very professional and very knowledgeable about the particular car I was looking at. He was also very knowledgeable about cars in general which was a definate plus for me! I knew he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't just trying to make a sale. Not pushy at all! This is just a side note/observation...It was somewhat disturbing that while I was talking to Ray about the car I was interested in, another sales associate, Liam, basically interruped us and wanted his customer to drive the car that I was talking to Ray about purchasing. I didn't think that was very professional on Liam's part. Ray, on the other hand, handled the situation very professionally. More
