Amazing, efficient, courteous staff. Chris Tara-Browne was amazing! Luis Hernandez greeted us with a smile upon arrival, brought us water, detailed our purchase, even put gas in the tank! Sweet man! Cory McMurray handled all the paperwork with speed, accuracy, and efficiency. What a pleasure! Tom Henschel coordinated everything, even though we arrived a day early. Best Car Buying Experience Ever! I have to say that Scott Longaker, was the nicest and most patient and friendly salesperson I have ever met. I feel so lucky to have just wandered in I have to say that Scott Longaker, was the nicest and most patient and friendly salesperson I have ever met. I feel so lucky to have just wandered in and be directed to his desk. He worked with me to understand exactly what I wanted—and I was not the easiest person to please—but he was cheerful and helpful through the entire process of buying my new Honda CRV. Not only that, he and Luis Hernandez were extra helpful when I was concerned about the tires after driving it off the lot and came back the next day (they were overinflated, likely at the dealer in Oakland they got the car from) and aimed to please by throwing in an extra service inspection just to make sure everything was right with the car and most of all, that I had confidence in it, which I do. By the time I was signing papers with Paul Matulich I was exhausted but he explained everything clearly and made sure I understood all options for service and an extended warranty. He also was available for questions after and was happy to help when I did call him. And then, the service department was wonderful from the moment I was greeted upon arrival through being escorted to my Service Advisor, Jonathan Canseco, who thoroughly understood what was needed and why and happy to keep me posted on how the car was doing and when it was ready to pick up. The computer system for keeping customers updated and informed is wonderful. This is the 8th car I've purchased in my life and I have never seen a dealership or service dept. before where people seem so friendly and genuinely happy to be there and where the customer service is so stellar. Scott followed up with me several times since my purchase and has been available to me for any questions I might have about my car. He made what can be a stressful purchase easy and comfortable. Many kudos to him. I love my car. Will I encourage others to go to Manly Honda? Yes, in a heartbeat. Thanks! More

A little slow and then fantastic I first visited Manly in search of a used Prius C; however, they could not find the key for a test drive. Next, I tried two other dealerships who eith I first visited Manly in search of a used Prius C; however, they could not find the key for a test drive. Next, I tried two other dealerships who either did not have any used Prius Cs or they were awful ( i.e., Marin Toyota). The latter was so problematic that even if I had liked the Prius C (visibility is very poor), I knew in the first few minutes that I would not do business there. It was disappointing and frustrating. I returned to Manly Honda, having found a newer used Fit listed under Manly's "specials." I worked with Brian Cerda. Initially, the computers were slow, making it uncertain if the car was still in inventory. And then it turned out that, despite having been sold 3 days prior, the "specials" inventory -- about 15 used cars -- had simply not been updated. I told Brian to consider how it felt from the consumer's side, and told him about the poor experience in Marin and frustrations earlier at Manly. He hesitated, but then said exactly the right thing: customers should be able to expect a little better service than lost keys and outdated listings. (I understand that the entire inventory cannot be kept up to date always, but the specials, with less than 20 used cars, should have been updated more than once every 5 days). I had my keys in my hand ready to leave the dealership for good and to hold on to my old 2003 Civic for another few years. Brian changed that with his professionalism, his kindness, his knowledge of the Fit, his diligence, and good-natured attentiveness. Cory McMurray in financing was great as well. I generally avoid dealerships for numerous reasons -- rip-offs, rude; extremely poor service on vehicles with dire results; often sexist; etc. But, Manly was a real surprise. Well done Brian. You not only kept a customer, but you made for a really delightful buying experience -- something I have never said in 45 years of driving. To be quite honest, I felt Brian was so opposite of the used car salesperson image -- Brian is honest, with high ethics and clear integrity -- that I hope great things for him. And thanks to Cory for the good humor and turning the tedium of forms into an occasion to connect and to laugh. If you are looking to buy a car at Manly, please ask for Brian Cerda. And a shout to Luis Hernandez for making sure that the sale went well. More

Great Experience! Wow! I have never had a better experience buying a car than I did at Manly today. I saw the car I thought I wanted online yesterday and contacted the Wow! I have never had a better experience buying a car than I did at Manly today. I saw the car I thought I wanted online yesterday and contacted the dealership. Alex responded immediately. Because I was coming from two hours away he helped me get them the information they needed ahead of time so we could expedite the process once I got there. Alex (internet sales) was fantastic in this regard and in helping ensure we had the information we needed about the car - even though it was very late in the day. When we got to the dealership this morning Alex was waiting and was very knowledgeable about the car. We also worked with Luis and Kevin in getting the final numbers put together and making payment. They were all wonderful. No obnoxious pressure for things we didn't want, no games. Very easy to work with. I purchased the car (great price) and love it. Completely worth the drive. I highly recommend Manly and would drive two hours again to purchase a vehicle from them. Thanks to all at Manly for such a great car buying experience. More
