Terrible I will not purchase from them again in the future. When we went to pick up the car there were two scratches on it. I was told by my sales person that no one was aware of the scratches. We had future. When we went to pick up the car there were two scratches on it. I was told by my sales person that no one was aware of the scratches. We had some Lexus items installed on the car by the dealership prior to our taking delivery. Plus the car is detailed before we take delivery. Plus the salesperson should take a final walk around the car before we show up. Well when we showed up, literally within 20 seconds we saw the scratches. So for the sales person to say no one knew the scratches were there is all but impossible for me to believe. So this is on a Thursday. A guy comes out and tries to buff the scratches out. This doesn't work but the salesperson says take a look. Maybe you will take the car. I told him NO without even seeing it. So he tells me that they will fix the scratches and the car will be ready on Monday. I tell him to keep me posted. Much of Monday comes and goes, so I reach out and only then am I told that the car will be done on Tuesday. Once again I ask to be kept in the loop. Most of Tuesday comes and goes so I reach out again and now I'm told the car will be ready Wednesday. Finally the car shows up on Wednesday. Communication was great while I was negotiating on the car and they were trying to make the sale. However, after the sale was finalized, I felt like a second class citizen as no one reached out to me on the status of the repairs until I pinged them. Also, the scratch itself isn't the issue here. The issue is that someone should have told us on the originally delivery day that there were scratches. And we should not have driven from Punta Gorda all the way up to Sarasota only to find out we aren't getting our car. Had we been told this before we went up there, it would have been fine. They could have fixed the scratches and we would be happy. I understand things like this happen. But I feel we were being taken advantage of and the dealership didn't want to do the right thing until I pressed the issue. In addition, the car was paid for via ACH from my bank. And the funds were withdrawn a full two days before the car was ready for us to take delivery. This is very bad business in my opinion. The way this was handled was terrible. This should not happen when purchasing a brand new Lexus vehicle. Other things about this dealership were fine and they are shown in the answers to questions below. However, I still won't be using Lexus of Sarasota in the future. More

These guys are the best! I was in Indiana and purchased the Bronco over the phone. When we arrived at the dealership, the Bronco was better than described. Mike and Luis helped us through the process and we were home with our new Bronco in two days. I can’t say enough about the dealership. If I had to critique anything, it would be getting our title. However, we are out of state so that just could be working through different state laws. Bottom line is that I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Especially if they are buying from out of state. As I said… they are the best. Easiest car deal I’ve ever made. More

I left the dealership without an owners manual and a recharging cable. No customer should be leaving your lot without owners manual and if they have an electric vehicle without a charging cable. I’m still waiting to receive both items from the Lexus dealer. Yet my six year old vehicle that I turned in as a trade-in came with owners manual and all other manuals that came with the car originally. Very sad when you buy a car that’s worth $67,000 and you can’t even plug it in because there is no charging cable. This is really unacceptable.. More
